Did you ever boo a racer?

I booed Reed until he sacked up and ran the Outdoors. I disapprove of Stewart right now. One more year of SX only and he's black listed to me. No racial pun intended. This whole "I'm only doing the Outdoors for the MXdN" is a joke. Go try and get on the SXdN team... oh wait, that doesn't exist, yet. Bercy is getting closer to having one.

Did you boo McGrath when he did SX only? Think he's a POS?
Actually yes. He was my hero growing up. Went every year to Texas Stadium just to see him. Seeing him make enough money to turn his back on half the races did disappoint me though. Reading Wide Open didn't help any in that regard. Being older I can now see why a guy would WANT to take the summer off but I still don't agree. Does Derek Jeter just go home and sit at his house after the All Star break and rejoin come playoff time? Why should MX be any different?

Come to think of it, I became a Carmichael fan soon after. Not to take anything away from Jeremy. Doing that probably prolonged his career a little more, which is great for the fans too... err at least the ones who are fortunate enough to have a SX or 3.

Sure, I've boo-ed before.
Back in the 80's when I raced 60's, I crashed out twice in one moto and then pulled off the track. My dad called me a "wimp" and a "faggot". Then he went into his moto (35+) and whooped everyone's ass. I didn't care, I boo-ed that mother fucker and gave him thumbs down each time he passed by.

I'll bet your right lostboy819. I'll bet at least 75% that say they haven't have at one time or another. I've booed before. Not proud of it but alcohol does strange things to me. When I think about doing it now I'm embarassed. One of the many reasons I quit drinking. Add alcohol, instant ass-hole. I don't even remember doing it, but I'm sure I did. At least I'll bet I did.

I booed Emig when he kicked LaRocco in the head, I booed Steve Lamson when he took out McGrath twice in the same race, I booed Sorby just because he was a rolling road block, I would have Booed Alessi standing on Ivans bike if I would have been there and I booed big time when all the F1 drivers who had Michelin tires pulled off on the formataion lap at the Indy F1 race and I am still pissed about that deal. I booed everyone who didn't race the night the lights went out in Vegas.

It's all about karma really. If people continue this boo thing against foreign riders they might be left with their own only which mean de-evolution. It's some form of protectionism that short term might make some feel good, but in the end is a failure.

I honestly though we as present or former riders stood above this shit since we know how hard it is. But I was wrong. Maybe the boo-people are not riders and knows shit about riding?

I think there's a difference to boo JS7 doing SX only and boing CP because he's french? or a threat to Canard and a Euro that does his own thing?

It's a thought that never entered my mind. My first race that I attended was the 1981 USGP and it was amazing watching pro racers from around the world ripping up the grass and dirt at Unadilla. I even remember when Ray Sommo flew by me on his factory supported KX 80. I didn't think of booing him running a couple gears faster than me. As fast as Sommo was there are many factory pros who line up a every round of the outdoor series with blazing fast speed. I still enjoy the battles for 14th and 15th place. So, I'm lost with this "new" fan mentality. Anyone ever boo a racer?

I booed RC at Indy when he took TP out. I know Travis said it was no big deal but it pissed me off. Looking back it was not a "booable" offense.

I've never boo'ed a racer, but you won't ever see me cheering for JS7, J Law, Friese, or Josh Grant.

I'll boo Alessi's dad if the opportunity ever presents itself.

You're the man Jake-247.

Tyler Bowers, Fresno Arenacross, 2 or 3 years ago. He goes down in a corner, then waits for the leader to come back around and tries to take him out. By the time the race is over, Tyler is 3 laps down and has successfully altered the outcome of the race. He deserved to be boo'd.

Only real BOOs I ever heard was when James landed on RC and took him out at Unadilla. I was actually starting to get worried for James. It was a bone head move though.

Didn't boo myself though.
