Actually I think in his mind it’s as simple as they are ruining his life so he’s going try and ruin theirs…tit for tat…
You, along with everyone else is here posting on the subject. So if you say, I guess that makes you their target audience as well or you would not be here. If you were such a core moto guy and you were so cool that you did not care to see any of these headlines related to the top riders, you wouldn't be on vital, period.
If you read, I said I'm interested in his production to see if his next video is as poorly edited as his first one. I do not watch Cooksey videos, but I'll happily watch another 5 minute Mirtl video for pure entertainment while I sit here at the desk.
I think that most of us seriously underestimate the cumulative effects of racial bias and prejudice. Not saying that everyone that the Stewart’s came into contact with was overtly racist, but the times that they felt it is probably a higher number than you think. And I’m not talking about something as egregious as holding up a sign, I’m talking about the huge number of moments in a day that you are treated differently because of your ethnicity.
What's with all the downvotes, this post is spot on. Are people sleeping under a rock? Although both deragotory terms, Nig*er is way worse than NIg*a. I have confirmed with my black peeps.

“Then why did he wait so long to release the footage of Jett with the N word?”
Just a guess, but I think that it might have taken him this long to realize that he should edit out himself coaching and encouraging Jett to talk like that……
You might be right because based on his editing skills it might have taken him that long to figure it out.
Yea, the fact that he holds on to things that his clients do so that way in the off chance at some point in the future he needs blackmail he has it ready to go is a pretty bad look on his part. He ended up coming out of this looking much worse than jett did. A 15 year old jett saying a bad word probably trying to be funny or edgy is not really that big a deal, but everybody now knowing that you can never feel safe around mirtl cuz he may be secretly saving things that make you look bad for a future date is going to have a much bigger effect on his relationships.
When my sister was going through a rough mental health period she was doing the same thing, saving all kinds of things that she thought she could later use against us, and it had the complete opposite effect that she had wanted. Let me tell you when that trust is broken its a hell of a time getting it back. I dont think he quite understands the can of worms he just opened up by doing this, because why would anyone ever trust him again after that? If you cant trust someone youre not going to do business with them. As so many other people have said he needs to just shut the hell up, stop making videos, and let his lawyer and the courts deal with it. Hes making things soooo much worse.
That’s not true it’s is also offensive to indigenous people and people who think everyone should be treated fairly. I grew up in a town with a large indigenous population and many of my friends at school and on my footy team were aboriginal. Racist morons would throw that word and other slurs around and it was disgusting and hurtful.
The biggest problem is that Mirtl lost his credibility together with the respect from a lot of people. His episode two could be full of ground breaking stuff. We will care because it is entertaining, but we won't believe it.
I believe this is exactly what is going on in his mind, except the Lawrence's didn't ruin his life.
He ruined his own by being a grubby thief that got caught and now he's turning the whole thing into some kind of sick revenge crusade and trying to paint himself as the victim from something that resulted entirely from his own actions.
I think he's crossed a threshold and is beyond help at this point. He tarnished his own name from the beginning and now it's literal mud.
I don't live under a rock and I had no idea of this until now.
As a person who is indigenous and grew up and currently still lives in a smaller indigenous rural town in central west called "Coonamble" .

I guess it depends on your relationship and how it's used. If you're using it as an insult. it will be taken as an insult.
If your just talking, taking the piss out of someone or just banter. You've got more chance of getting an upper cut from being called "Champ" or putting your beer down on a pool table.
You have to embrace the downvotes here, because they are usually for you and not the topic being discussed....
But in this case the downvotes do appear to be toward my post which doesn't make sense unless they are all young or woke. I grew up in the N.W.A era (lookup what it stands for) when the term Nig*a was used in every rap song and plastered on platinum album covers. Some of the best rap songs every produced use the word in the name of the song. As a teenager in that era with a tape or CD in hand, hearing the word nig*a in every popular rap song became a common slang word to sing along with, no matter what color you were. Outside of the music, blacks use it as a casual "bro" term to talk to their boys. Nigg*er on the other hand is not used in every rap song and is not used as a common brotherly gesture, and that's why I said it's much more derogatory based on use in society. Neither are proper, but to say one is not worse than the other is foolish as my black friends have confirmed this too. For those too woke or young to understand, please lookup some of the best rap produced of all times and you can't get away from the term Nig*a, but I don't ever recall them using the term Nig*er:
NWA, Snoop, Easy E, Dr. Dre, Tupac, Ice Cube, Ice T, Notorious BIG, Warren G, LL Cool J, DMX, 50 Cent, and the list goes on.
You probably don't listen to rap or hip-hop or maybe you are too young, but see my post above.
Yup.
“Hey, just a heads up. You’re fired and we’re suing you to get back the money you owe us.”
“K well you said the N word. And your dad beats you. Oh and you guys are big meanies to Jo. So… I think it’s fair to say we’re even now.”
Just curious about some of you fans of rap does it bother you that the N word is used so liberally knowing that they’re influencing young minds to think it’s ok? I’ve seen videos of things not going well for some folks that have been normalized by it. Doesn’t really matter if it’s the “A” or the “R” to me. Still cringy anytime I hear it.
Rant over. Putting on my beats and listening to Fear of a Black Planet on my portable CD playa. Holla!
That’s why the video of Jett mimicking playing a didgeridoo and making the coon comment was in my opinion was very offensive and is something that should be apologized for….
Pit Row
How do you know that they were few and far between? What if you’re wrong? What are the chances that YOU know how often they did or didn’t have issues?
I'm glad you are offended by it and not the indigenous Australians it was aimed at...
Funny that the demographic who call the sport soft are the same demographics who are offended by everything.
I think that it matters who is saying it. I know that a lot of people don’t agree, but it really does matter.
When black people started using either of the variations, it was borne of the notion that they were actually showing defiance to how the word was used for so long. It was a way to try to overcome the hatefulness that the word represented.
It hasn’t quite worked out that way, obviously. I don’t like hearing either variation, but to me there is definitely a difference between someone who looks like me saying it and someone who looks black. I have no desire to say either variation and it seems like most of the (non-black) people I’ve met who try to use the variation ending with an ‘a’, really really want to use the term with the hard ‘r’ but don’t want to be recognized for their racist desire.
We each have an opinion and that’s ok….have a nice day…
Yeah I agree its definitely going to vary depending on where you are from and if youre from a town called Coonamble that is going to skew things. The town I grew up in I have only seen it used in a racist and harmful way. The champ thing is different, as it doesn't have any history as being used as a racial slur. If someone walked into my football club and called someone champ they might get into an argument or fight and some peopke might think they are a dickhead, others might think they are a legend depending on who its said to haha. If someone walks in and call someone a coon they are getting kicked out 100%, and they would not be welcome back.
yeah, and i don't disagree. I just think the term never really did hold weight. And again, as Aussies we tend to use words and sayings that other countries would consider racists or nasty... but in AUS it's our tone of voice that dictates how things are meant. which can be confusing for foreigners haha.
I don’t disagree with most of what you are saying. My thoughts are if you want the word and everything it represents to go away, no matter what the spelling is, stop using it. It does nothing but divide folks further IMO.
This legitimately looks like it’s about himself lmao.
Alright champs, simmer down now

Doesn’t Mirtl with or without the Lawrence’s need clients to make a living?
who would do business with him now?
