I've seen two videos on my feed now that showed Deegan doing the now-customary championship burnout/champagne pour/bike destruction ritual... But on DAVIES' BIKE. They put a big #1 front plate on it, but it had #100 on the sidepanels.

I think its time you understand that Davies and Deegan are good friends. And Deegan used his bike to honor him for how good he did this year. Maybe you need to go back and watch practice when he got hurt. Deegan immediately ran over to Davies to check on him when they red flagged qualifying. They are good friends. He may say some stupid stuff on the podium, but he's still a kid. You guys have to stop thinking everything he does is to piss you or anyone else off.

You realize Cole doesn't own that bike personally and these bikes are torn down and completely rebuilt by Monday, right? Wether it was tribute or star just wanting to use the already wrecked bike, who gives a shit?
Why would Coles bike have a less expensive engine? He would’ve been racing that bike if he didn’t get hurt in practice?
They were trying to blow up Deegan’s bike, they put a stop to it. Then Deegan realized he wanted to do the burnout with Vialle and needed a bike so he grab Cole’s. A burnout isn’t going to blow up the bike. Why would Weege just completely fabricate that story?

To me it sounded like star didn't want that bike to be used either. He said deegan stole Cole Davies bike to ride over to the ktm truck so tom and him can do burnouts together. I don't see weege lying or making that up. I did see people trying to say he did that to honor Cole. Lol

The team understands how "fans" blow shit out of proportion when it comes to Deegan, I can't believe for a second they would have green-lighted this without good intentions or reason.

OK, I'll walk that position back. I was unaware that this was done to honor the guy. It sure seemed like a huge slap in the face when I saw what I saw... it was as if Deegan was saying, "Not only did I win by taking you out at the previous round, now I'm going to thrash your bike." The clips I've seen didn't make any of that clear.
Yes, I'm aware that Davies doesn't actually own that bike, and yes I know that Star can do what they want with their own machines.

I didn’t say it did. I think Cole’s bike just wasn’t disabled in the same way as Deegan’s.

They bounced the thing off the rev limiter a few times. Apparently star didn't trust that that was all Deegan was going to do with his own bike.
Watching weege show as he roamed around a mostly empty parking lot in Salt Lake city while the sun was barely down I actually felt bad for all these champions that this is their big celebration. Gotta get the last round out of there and back to Vegas or Nashville or a place where the entire industry can let it out after a long season.
Does the new stadium in Vegas not want sx there? Sam Boyd is going to eventually be torn down so thats not an option
Matthes said something about monster jam going there and I looked it up trying to maybe guess at future SX schedule, but it's going to the UNLV basketball arena. Everyone has a price and I'm guessing feld and these new stadiums are not close on that number.
Monster jam is at Sofi stadium this weekend but so cal already has enough rounds. Looks like there's also a monster jam in stl the weekend after the smx round, so that's why we're going there and pretending like this race through the tunnel isn't a terrible idea.
I thought Monster Jam was going to the new stadium as I had heard that being talked about somewhere. But Monster Jam is going to the UNLV stadium, not Allegiant. Hopefully they change their no dirt stance so we can get the final round back to a proper stadium.

The champs just need to spring for a private jet and short flight for their team/friends to Vegas if they end in SLC again.
