I can’t believe he’s taking one more year in 250sx.
What a disappointment.
So, what year will Deegan go to 450's? Not sure why he has is not doing 450 outdoors this year, but I am sure it is a "plan". Seems to me he would want to win the 450SMX as the payout is significantly higher.
Why? Defend that title, 450 outside in 26, then full time in 27'. Even RC wishes he raced the 125 in 99'.
I would guess Yamaha wants him to defend his titles at least once. I'll be really surprised if he doesn't move up next summer, though.

He’s been running his program for a couple years and a couple championships and I can’t recall any significant “ put downs” to date ?
Wheres the no one option? I dont think any of the 450 guys really give a shit about talk and for all the whining that goes on here Deegan doesnt seem anymore more aggressive on the track than guys like Anderson, Barcia, and Mookie so I dont see that being an issue either.

Whenever he moves up doesn't matter as much as WHY NOT RACE A 450cc SATURDAY IN UTAH ? These is no reason to race the East/West Shootout. Guys used to race the "big bike" class on the opposite coast often, even if the Title wasn't yet deiced.
Why would he spend the week getting comfortable on 450 when he could spend the week training for outdoors and then ride press on the 250 and be fine for Saturday. Some of the stuff people say on vital is truly mind boggling.
A 250 title defense beginning May 24 is a pretty good reason to not race a 450 this Saturday...
The only people in the 450 class that have an issue with him are the Lawrences and they don’t have enough aggression to take him down. Jett won’t try and if Hunter did he’d just end up looking over his shoulder all the time like he does with JA. Haiden knows who the brawlers are and he’s probably smart enough to not mess with them.

He recently said he knows the 450 class is different and feels like he can get away with his antics in the 250 class (not exact words, but basically)
