Yes, teams actually hate it when riders win titles. No team wants Haiden.
I can’t wait until he tries his EPO/HGH rage on 450 guys….
That 450 does not like getting thrown around like a madman. If you aren’t the fastest 250 guy and have to resort to knocking the competition down to win it doesn’t bode well for 450’s….
Mookie, Anderson, Barcia, Eli, Webb, Lawrence Brothers, etc, etc, etc don’t care how much Monster sponsors you, how many followers you purchased on social media, how much RC covers for you on tv, or if your 130 lb. bad boy dad has a tramp stamp, they will 100% punt you into the cheap seats. Try it once, start eating tough blocks every race.,
It’s funny because some here say you’re soft if you don’t like what Deegan did or what he says.
1. The takeout of a teammate was totally unnecessary. At that point Deegan was noticeably faster and could have easily made a clean pass that lap. He would have left with a 20 point lead, team gets a 1st and 2nd, less tension on the team, and crowd does not boo nearly as much…and make less potential enemies on the track. btw…I was there and then watched the replay at home. TV does not do the level of booing justice. Just an unnecessary take down with many more negatives then were worth it...imo.
2. The kid flys. Nobody doubts that. No doubters. Haters? Yes. Doubters…not really.
3. I don’t like the kid…not because he isn’t fast…he is. …but he is a huge ass hat.
Not liking him because he is said ass hat does not make anyone soft.
As for not reacting the same if it were reverse? Yes…because I like to see ass hats put in the dirt. Davies is cool…so…yes…different reaction.
All just my opinion.

Keep on covering up for bad behavior….
We wouldn’t want Monster/Deegan marketing machine to cut you out of any interviews..
Pretty sure I didn't cover anything up in fact I have said very little I'm just blown away by the amount of so called adult grown men that are so emotionally involved in what a 19yr kid says and does and the over the top emotional posts it creates in here...some of you belong in a sorority....
A picture is worth a thousand words. 😉
What crying because he let Haiden catch him and he left the door open and was mad at himself? He made his own conditions and he knows that.
He will mature, over time.
Most young men mature before they reach 30. Those who don't, often never mature. We'll see how it goes.
Congrats on the title, sir.
Actually my point was not his crying. It was the other riders had respect for him and I didn't see any high fives for DNGR's championship. I guess if you have blinders on you don't notice those kind of things.
So your resorting to victimization…
We aren’t allowed to discuss an obvious take out move, several in one day actually from a rider well known for doing it? Even brags about?
Becuase “Grown Men” aren’t allowed to talk about a professional SX rider?
Please….go away.
Monster / Deegan might get mad
They just know Deegan's going to be beating them, too. All they were saying is welcome to the club.
They came over and obviously told him he did a good job and not get down on himself.
What does high fives have anything to do with racing and winning a championship? Riders don't win titles in this sport from getting high fives.
Another overly emotional response....Have a nice day Ma'am....
A teenage multi-millionaire who has literally risked his life for the crowds since he was old enough to walk gets booed by the crowds and responds with an inappropriate statement? Who would have guessed, nice we have so many people in these threads who never said anything inappropriate when they were nineteen.
Keep at it Don. Maybe if you cover for him enough your YouTube channel will earn a Monster sponsorship…
I'm not a fan of the Mulisha/Deegan circus at all, but that was barely a takeout. Sheesh, it looked like Deegan accidentally bumped him with the swingarm while going by. Sexton slammed Webb 10 times harder and Webb barely flinched. Davies did happen to leave about a 40 acre pastures worth of track for Deegan to claim in that corner. Davies knew quickly everything he did wrong, he will learn and he will get better as a result.
Congrats to Haiden, you earned it dude!!!
Meanwhile on....
Pit Row
I have. A couple of years ago, I was looking to replace my R1M with something a little less intense (creaking old MX bones and sport bikes don't get along well), leaning towards an MT-10 SP. After the LL debacle in 2022, I vowed to never purchase another Yamaha product ever again. I ended up purchasing a Kawasaki H2 SX SE instead. The incident also made me a lifetime "rat-faced boy" hater, regardless of how fast he is or how many championships he wins. The fact that he was booed when he clinched the championship last night makes me think that a lot of people agree with me. My Deegan complaints:
1) Felt like he had to cheat at LL, even the he was the odds on favorite to win. Winning an LL championship when you have a factory ride all lined up won't be much of a milestone in his career and isn't worth cheating over.
2) Deegan's, Star Yamaha's, and the AMA's treatment of Brennan Schofield was disgusting. They negotiated a deal, then immediately reneged on it. To cap it all off, they unnecessarily had sponsorships by a Yamaha dealer pulled. If this isn't asshole behavior, I don't know what is.
3) Unnecessarily aggressive riding.
4) Says dumb shit like "I was the first American" finisher.
5) Sticking out his tongue while simultaneously throwing devil horns on the podium. What a dork.
Sexton tried to break his leg...
How have I covered for him? I have said absolutely nothing about what I think of the pass or his words on the podium.... If by making fun of those that are way too emotionally involved in everything Deegan (that would be you) is somehow "covering for him" then color me guilty...I just find it funny that there are grown men like you that get so upset over Deegan...he could save a litter of puppies from a burning house and you would find some way to discredit him....
That is a bizarre comment coming from a person that is arguably the most Danger Boy emotionally invested person on this site. Clearly damage control.
There’s a lot of “reality” to this post.
I’m in my 60s and see pllllenty of my fellow “old guys” bitching and whining and clutching their pearls over lil’ Deegs…when I know for a fact…because, I was there…they CELEBRATED this shit when Hannah did it. Yes, Bob would talk smack…yes Bob would say,”When the gate drops, they’re no longer my friends.” And Bob brought it to a lot of people on the race track…ask Kent.
And another thing…when you’re racing for a 5-6 digit race bonus…or a 6-7 digit title bonus…
YOU DO NOT LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN.
When did we become a sport of such whiney little shits that forgot how this sport works?
The comparo to Zach & Joey is one of the more popular…but, this shit has been going on FOREVER. Some of you would have completely lost your shut when the USSR backed teams pulled some of the mad-crap they did “back in the day”. Or how about the OG and worst example on record…of team orders…
“Let Broc bye…”
This place would IMPLODE 🤣
Well said Motomike 👍
Poor Jaroslav....
What YouTube channel you talking about? 🤦♂️
Congrats. Your righteousness is noted
You can call it woke or what ever you want, but the society has evolved since the 70’s and things that were okay to say or do back then might not be looked at the same way today.
The dusty old Bob Hannah argument that people often want to bring to the table is using a example of a time that now is close to 50 years old.The sport worked in a way back in the days and now works in a different way.
In the 60’s the riders were smoking on the gate and drank beer between the motos, but those days are long gone, just like other things that was a standard in the past.
With the massive TV crowd numbers now days comes larger sponsors in to the sport, with those sponsors comes a great amount of money for the riders but along with that comes responsibility.
A responsibility to act professional, both in work ethic and in behavior. To act clean and represent your sponsors and employer in a good way.
That’s just the evolution of a professional sport, and it’s a small price to pay when you look at the money they earn and life they live compared to how the riders had it back in the 60-80’s.
He’ll get two charm school lessons, one from who signs his pay check, the other from grown men on 450’s that know how to deal with his kind. He ain’t the first fast kid to come up the ranks in SX/MX to get humbled and he will.
Not only that, but did Hannah take out a teammate? I can't recall.
