Exactly what medical advancement will promote blood flow into a bone so it can heal faster????? Im guessing you have taken all of the recent medical classes to come to this conclusion.

Well put, but Bubba himself said the hand was good to go. JSE has to worry about it's image. It'd be tough for his tv show if he continued to lose races. Oh but that's right, he doesn't care about winning, he's there for the fans.

I know it doesn't matter, but like was said, a lesser injury retired RJ
and no medical advancements have been made to increase blood flow to a bone that by nature gets little to no blood flow. If you jack that bone bad enough, you're screwed.

Knowing them and their tendency to extreme secrecy, I am willing to bet his wrist is totally jacked still

I'll be surprised if he's ever 100% again

I know that being a possibility doesn't matter, because most of you would prefer to shit on him.

and before you ask "Why doesn't he just come out and say that's the problem?"
It's because most (all) riders rarely disclose the full extent of their injuries or pain for fear of being benched, not getting a ride in the future or giving their competition a mental advantage.

But again, none of that matters, people will just shit on him anyway

he's going to have to change his riding style if he's going to be a mid-pack guy and survive.

I think every 'true fan' already seen this coming the minute he pulled out of the second moto at Unadilla. It has just finally been confirmed.

Bubba knows how he was riding, and if he could beat Dungey or not in a few weeks more of riding. Now we know what his answer to that question was.

Im not doubting your opinion Dave but if his wrist was still a problem why ride Unadilla? And above all else why complain then that you weren't considered for the MXDN team if you /knew/know your wrist isn't up to snuff. I can understand the not competing because of injury, but I cannot understand him complaining that he was not considered for the team when he knows he isn't ready anyway.

If he knew after Unadilla he wasn't ready then just say it, don't complain about not being considered and don't tell(or have your team tell) everyone you will be at southwick.

I'm sure there are a lot of really good reasons why JS pulled out for the remaining nationals, and I don't doubt that he is telling the truth (whether it be a team decision, healing injury, etc). All I can say is that it's too bad no one in the Stewart camp had the foresight of seeing what a PR disaster this turned out to be. Stewart's image has been going down hill for a while now, and this certainly did not help.

Because he wanted to try.
His motivation to try could be any number of things or all those things combined, but what I don't understand is people shitting on someone when they really have no clue as to what the realities are.

As Adam Sander once said, "Well, f@#% me up the goat as#!" Yet another reason why SX only contracts will go the way of the Dodo bird. JS has officially found rock bottom-all the shit he talked leading up to this, all the doing it for the fans shit, doing it for the love of the sport shit, want to get out there shit, can't race because I'm injured shit now I'm better and can race shit...its all bullshit.

Thats it...in a nutshell

A vascular bone graft will provide the blood flow required.

So you think he complained about not being considered for the MXDN after Unadilla because he wanted to try. Well that is understandable but if he wasn't ready then he puts the teams chances to win at risk. If he doesn't finish the race we loose and he knows that so why complain when they decide to pick someone who isn't hurt. Maybe it was just his passion for riding talking or the fact he lost some drama and action for his show.

Its really hard to tell what his motivation is anymore because he says one thing and does another. After so many times he developes a large crowd of people who like to crap on him.

Knowing them and their tendency to extreme secrecy, I am willing to bet his wrist is totally jacked still

Would a guy with a screwed-up wrist be pissed that he wasn't chosen for the MXoN team? Or was that whole deal yet another head-game by the Stewart camp to cover up the fact that his wrist is jacked? So many questions, so many contradictions.

I liked him a whole lot better when he was Bubba.

When it comes to the MXdN, and again, this is mostly speculation on my part, but maybe he believed he could race his way into shape, but over the last week and a half realized that may not be possible for whatever reason.
As for his feelings about what he may or may not have been promised, no one here (or at least anyone willing to speak up about it) knows exactly what the conversations were and consisted of.

Makes sense to me as its not worth wadding it up before SX if your not in the series anyway. Outdoors are very hard on the body I'd do the same thing, just my .02
