and no medical advancements have been made to increase blood flow to a bone that by nature gets little to no blood flow. If you jack that bone bad enough, you're screwed.

It's because most (all) riders rarely disclose the full extent of their injuries or pain for fear of being benched, not getting a ride in the future or giving their competition a mental advantage.

I can understand the not competing because of injury, but I cannot understand him complaining that he was not considered for the team when he knows he isn't ready anyway.

If he knew after Unadilla he wasn't ready then just say it, don't complain about not being considered and don't tell(or have your team tell) everyone you will be at southwick.

Well that is understandable but if he wasn't ready then he puts the teams chances to win at risk. If he doesn't finish the race we loose and he knows that so why complain when they decide to pick someone who isn't hurt. Maybe it was just his passion for riding talking or the fact he lost some drama and action for his show.

Its really hard to tell what his motivation is anymore because he says one thing and does another. After so many times he developes a large crowd of people who like to crap on him.
