Last week was a perfect example of what it takes to have a mudder the last several years. Just like San Francisco last year. It has to rain during the race. Like from 3pm to 9pm.

Forecast is way more accurate 24 hours out. Now it looks like the rain stops around Noon Saturday. Will it be soft with deeper than normal ruts, yes. Will it be a mudder. I doubt it.

So I shouldn't pick Dalton Biggs for the win?

Depends on how much it rains during qualifying. The track’s gonna be uncovered at like 8 AM and they race at 2.

We won't know if it's a mudder until Wil Christian talks to someone's personal chef and reports it back to us during the early passes for the lead.

They would have to get biblical amounts of rain

They will likely be watering the tarped area since it’s been covered. The start straight might be a little rough. I’m hoping for near normal conditions.

It's a day race...supposed to rain all through qualifying...

Here is the forecast for qualifying. Everything is gone after 11:00. Races shouldn’t be rained on at all. Everyone settle down on mud races.

How about let’s see what happens when the gate drops.

Might get some light rain during qualifying, race time should be fine. It's going to be a cold day again. It's unfortunate, tomorrow should be really nice and Monday it will be 70 and sunny. Luck of the draw.

Track looks great and forecast looks like it should hold off as well! All that panic of changing the sport because of one mud race for nothing. 😔
