From the dunes to the mountains, from the sand to the tight hardpack slopes. More than on any other track, the start is key here. Weatherforecast for Saturday is sunny and dry, but on Sunday there's quite some rain predicted.

Cairoli makes a guest appearance as stand-in for the injured Guadagnini.

In EMX250, Reišulis is aiming to take over the red plate from Petit, who only has a point-lead over his opponent.

In EMX125, Katona has a gap of 27 points to second placed Heitink after going 1-1 in Sardegna. From second to seventh place there's only a difference of 7 points, with eight rankd Fauré only 3 points further.

Where do you find those pre-entry lists of 46 and 40 entries in mxgp and mx2?

On the website of the FIM. They're standard entry lists completed with entered wild cards I suppose, as some injured riders are still on those lists. MX2 without the injured riders still has 35 entries. To be confirmed of course.

I hope Petit can maintain the lead in EMX.

I can't see Lotte racing given her current condition.

Also for Heitink to be second in EMX125 is crazy as he's gone 5-7-5-7-4-11 so far this season. It just shows that putting solid(ish) results in pays off, although he is a little way back from the lead.

Could be. She said in her flash interview she needs bike time on hard pack, so maybe that's part of her training schedule. Results are not important, but bike time and race condtions are, something like that.

Is she injured? I didn't watch the WMX races but saw she went 1-1 in the race thread.

She was really sick all weekend.

I think she also picked up an injury before the Mini O’s.

I think she also picked up an injury before the Mini O’s.

Broke her Ankle (?) at that time.

And, it appears she had a some recovery issues with that, as well as being crook  in Sardinia / Sardegna.

As DeStouwer wrote,  she's probably looking at this weekend as good training for a surface she needs some help with. And, it always helps to have an even higher / deeper level of competition, to go up against. That is Not to say many of the Women she's racing with in WMX are not blazingly fast.

They're updated now. if you take out the injured riders: 48 entries in MXGP, 36 in MX2, 76 in EMX250, 70 in EMX125.

Mitch Evans is back according to that entry list!

Also Monticelli, Lapucci etc. that's a decent entry. First time i've seen Glen Meier in the GP paddock for a few years.

Seems Lotte is in for this weekend after all. I guess as Trentino is on the way home from Riola it kinda makes sense and she says she needs the track time.

Oriol Oliver will replace the injured Max Werner, for a few GPs in the MX2 class.

It's the same in EMX250. Skovbjerg scored 10-4-11-10 in the races and is currently fifth in the standings.

So good to see the old fellas (Febvre & Coldenhoff) in top form.

Indeed! To be honest, I didn't expect Coldenhoff to be so good (anymore) and get 2 out of 4 podiums. I would've rather expected somone like Vlaanderen.

Shout out to Kevin Horgmo aswell. Together with Gajser he's the only rider who scored points in every single race so far (including the qualifying races) and missed the top 10 only once, resulting in a well-deserved 6th in the standings!

Team SR Honda is actually doing a great job with Horgmo.

So does Demaria, official trainer of the team.

I don’t think Infront accepts anymore than 40 entries for MX2

If Horgmo carries on riding like he is it will be interesting to see where he lands next year. I'd vote for Monster Energy Yamaha.

There will be a lot less then 40 at the first practice, but you are correct that only 40 are accepted in mx2.
