What happening? MX2 no riders?
Herlings does not even trying to do something.

That Guy is not motivated.. Why?
Youthstream? Ktm?
Dude you cant tell me that 1:52 is the best what you can do. If motivated he always wel be in 2 sec range of top. One lap for sure.
If this is it. I accept it. But Dude one lap?
I get gp hillybilly from the 2004 out of a bar. And he Will give me a lap that I think oké that Dude can ride.. But 6 sec off? There is something wrong. I think its youthstream.

Might be a small field but the racing in MX2 is excellent .  DeWolf rides above the track in the sand .

Does Herlings still have the hunger?

Whilst what is shared on socials isn't indicative of effort, a lot of his stories have been holiday and material possessions at home.

I'm expecting him to ride back into shape and challenge for wins before the year is out, but I'd be surprised if he's back in 2026 - he doesn't need the money and budgets will be tighter!

It doesn’t look like it. He probably knows his contract with KTM won’t get renewed if they throw big money at Coenen to stay in MXGP.

What a weird GP for Herlings, but glad he showed his speed! Coenen crashing his brains out twice, hopefully he is ok. I was rooting for Gajser to pass Febvre, that would have made Coldenhoff the overall winner. The battle between Gajser and Febvre was awesome to see, their technique and flow was amazing

Anyone with some info on Reneaux?

Slowest laptime in warm up this morning. He did 7 laps and the first one was his best one.

Almost top 5 and fastest lap of the day..... so i wasn't  completely wrong

It does look bad.

The EMX250 riders won't wildcard because their season is now 13 rounds, which is allready way to many rounds.

And with the oems rather supporting a potential top 3-5 effort in emx250 over guys running a partial mx2 season means that there is simply not a deep field in MX2.

For once I caught the Studio Show from the start!

Liam Everts was a Great interview.

As was Large Coenen.

Then, some Grizzly Bearded Bloke, speaking some strange, near unintelligible  dialect of English ( I think ) came on.

He was pretty good, knew a lot about the Younger Townley, and had  some interesting stuff on Cole Davies.

Who was that Bearded Bloke? He seemed to know a fair bit about the 'Small Flightless Bird Land'  MX scene ............. 😉 😬

PS : We Luvs Yuz Kiwis!

I didn’t see it, but I’m guessing the ‘Grizzly bearded bloke’ was Ben Rumbold. He’s Neil Hudson’s nephew.

Good guy. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. But appreciates the good old days too (because of his uncle’s achievements).

Yeah, unexpected. His good start and excellent first lap helped him a lot ofcourse, before he started fading and finished a minute after the winner. But I didn't hear you after the first race did I?

Well something to do with zero price money to win and a 1500,- euro entry fee plus al the logistic and bike/racing costs I think, structure in mxgp is a complete mess compared to overseas.

It's not a 1500 entry fee. It's 300. This has been discussed ad naseum.
