Just curious, what could he not accomplish while on vacation that he could accomplish in the WH?



He still gets daily updates, he still has daily briefings....do you think he just stops being president when on vacation?

If you're referring to GW's vacation time, I never said anything, for the same reason I am not now.

I now only bring it up when people attack Obama's vacation time, which is still less than Bush's

Less damage to the country , I hope he stay on vacation for the rest of his time in (out of ) office..Hes a full time joke as a leader...
and he had to take 2 planes one for his wife and 2 hours later one for him

I honestly can not remember a President that hasn't taken a bunch of vacations. Ronnie did it all the time. I guess that's the compensation when the President only makes $300,000 and Bell town managers make $700,000. Vacation time!

I'd like to have the Winnebago one for just a week.

I hope he takes a LOT more vacation. The more time he spends on the beach the less he can screw up the country. Let's give him a couple of YEARS of vacation. I won't even mine us paying him.

Why didn`t the Obama`s just stay at the Gulf? Now that everything with the spill is under control, what better way to show support than eating, swimming, and spending their vacation in the region, instead of a day or two swimming in a near by river for a photo-op.

Don't worry in November he will be on a permanent vacation when the Rep's get the houses back. So the more he vacations now the better it is for the country, it's even better for the Liberals, they just don't know it.

I heard Rove talking about it and he said they actually get more of a break and time with the family on the short trips like the one to the gulf because not as much of his staff goes. He said the longer "vacations" they take they are working much like they would be at the WH because his staff will all be there too.

It Ddoes'nt look good having Mrs O on vacation in Spain at a cost of 50Gs a night while the country is at 11% unemployment and everyone is trying to figure out how to keep what they have.
It does'nt look good getting back from a vacation abroad then renting a masion on Martha's vineyard.
