Good. F-ck those other cheap a-s countries. Bout time we started standing up.
Could it possibly have anything to do with further attempts for peace? That alone would be something worth being comfortable with.
Meanwhile, Australia stills sends money to Ukraine right?
I think it’s sweet that you stick up for your friend, but if Putin wants peace he simply needs to not invade his neighbors.
If it's because he wants peace, that must mean he doesn't want peace with the rest of the world!

I suppose you are still looking for the bat colony that COVID came from too?
Fair enough, we'll cop it 😅

Material costs for copper and, other metals are going to skyrocket. I’m not looking forward to it. Projects will definitely get placed on hold. From Iron workers to plumbers. We’re fucked.
I’ll take non sequitur for $500, Alex.
It's only non sequitur to you since you can't follow the logic, which is you still only want to believe the story you have been fed by the main stream media.
Well, gold is around $3,100 per oz now and should keep rising. Precious metals are going up, so it makes total sense that your gold mining stock is on the rise. Congratulations.
Hence...pop a Xanax. ;o)

One day, I'll tell you the story of having dinner with Dan Ashcraft at the "Tigers Cave" in Ensenada after his Baja 500 victory,(Smith/Ashcroft) 84 I think..
The good thing about mining stocks, is when the resource goes up 5%, the miner's stock goes up 15-20%, leverage baby!
The Vitards are going bonkers.....it is good for them.
Some advice for the Vitards.....pop a Xanax, wait until it kicks in before you come back in here!
Thank you
Luke
Why wait, there's gold in them hills...
Good point, but I ask, can you name any other countries that impose broad based tariffs irrespective of industry, rather than targeted tariffs to protect specific industries that may have a competitive disadvantage, however is deemed important for the country? You see that is why tariffs are generally adopted.
There are a handful, but 2 following questions would be, do you consider any of them to have a high standard of living? And would you want to live in any of them?
You'll be dissappointed about the number of investments really happening after this cluster f*ck. Money is needed for that but companies lost trillions of dollars yesterday. Apple stock dropped 10% after the announcement!
If Trumps ideas are so revolutionary and great, why didn't it work out with the companies he bankcrupted? Whats makes you think think this failed business man, knows more about economy than experts all over the world? Serious question, because believe and hope seems all you have right now, as all economical indications point in the opposite direction.
And in regards to unfair tariffs. Weighted average US vs europe for goods is only at 2.2% vs 2.7%. For services, its even a huge surplus for the US. This can be all fixed without ruining the relationship, but yet he choose to nuke both sides.
Going back to your old ways ain’t ya OW….
Stay tuned.
No worse than the foreigner who sits around 24/7 with a vital tab open, acting like some American political expert, with copypasta facts and charts at the ready.
If it is because of a desire for ‘peace’, wouldn’t that mean that the increased tariffs for other countries would signal a desire for the opposite of peace?
And wasn't it Trump himself who threatened russia with tariffs a few days ago if they don't stop fighting?
