What are we expecting out of Craig in his return? I really don’t know where I stand on this, I’m expecting he’ll be better than he was on the Husky but coming back as late as round 9 leaves little room for optimism. Anybody else been thinking about this?
Gonna pick 8th place....but I still very much feel CC is a Top 5 guy when healthy.
13th
10th -15th
Put me down for 11th, give him a week or two and he'll be a 6-9th place guy in the current field

I feel like 12-17th coming off a long recovery.
Top 5 guy? He has raced 29 450 SX races Average result is 10.6. Has 3 top 5's (all 4th place) and 10 top 8 in those 29 races. So he has only finished top 8 10 times in his career so not sure if he will get that coming back from injury even with a depleted field.
If Shane gets a good start, Craig will finish right behind him in 12th. If Craig starts in front of Shane, Christian gets 11th.
15
I'm thinking 10th-13th and for sure a story on the broadcast about his family and all the adversity he's had to overcome to be back on the track this year.
If he's in shape I say 6th
I think there is a lot of recency bias looking at his performance on the 250 in the regional stuff. Christian is a bad dude on a bike, but I don't see this going well.
I see a lot of Josh Hansen in Christian. That's both a compliment and unfortunately a curse...
Top 5 in 450 SX based on what?
I'll guess he'll finish 8th-12th in this somewhat depleted, but still very competitive field.
Craig? Is he actually gonna race? He won’t make any mains, and if he does, he’ll pullout mid race.
I'm saying 10-12. He should be ready to go just take a couple of races to get his fitness back. Seems like a good guy and best of luck.
Josh Hansen is actually a really good comparison
If he has the blinky light on his bars 10th. If not 15th.
It depends, is he wearing the onesie ?
7th in his heat
12-15th in the main.
If no onesie, I'll give him 11th
🤣
I’ll say 11-13. With this depleted field, he could pull a top 10…. But barely. He’s missed too much to jump back in at top level.
Who?
Pit Row
Somewhere between adversity-working construction
Just a guy that finished 8th in the series that ended 7 months ago.
I swear people act like he's been off the bike getting fat on the couch for 5 years.
Well when you know how much adversity a man such as Christian has faced over all these years such as getting factory rides from his relatives and entering the work force of his father in laws construction company as a manager you have to wonder what the lingering effects could be
Some top 10's for CC would be a great kickstart to his comeback. His arm/elbow got pretty FKd up so as weird as it sounds, that knee injury might have been a Blessing in the Sky for him. I'm just glad to see him still racing professionally again. He has had to overcome some bad ones in his career.
I am going ot say top 15, knowing that he has had multiple podiums outdoors on the old gen star bike in 2022. I hope he can get better and do his best to stay on the track and not get hurt.
Qualifies decent, gets in through the heat, dnf main event
Hey Christian, sweet burner account.
Exactly, stay on the track and not get hurt. That's a win for him at this point I think.
If he's going in with top-10 expectations I think he's going to be mentally beat down immediately, and we know that does not bode well for him.
The guy has shown the ability to handle adversity as far as coming back from injuries, and that should be commended, but he hasn't shown much toughness once he's back on the track.
Good dude, but I think his best days are behind him.
I wonder if the bike he was on at the time had anything to do with him not showing a lot of toughness.
Just my opinion, but if the bike you're on has an effect on your toughness....that kind of answers the question.
One little indicator of how far off he is is Jcoops comments on pulp. He said him and Webb are basically in their own tier on the farm, away from the 250 hyenas - they go fastest to slowest. Craig is likely in amongst 250 pace on his 450
