Back to the track where the 2024 season ended. A lot of riders (but only Herlings had the balls to speak up about it in public) complained about the safety of the track. I wonder if they've made some adjustments.

Right??? Trying to watch the replays from the first weekend was a dumpster fire.  I opened a ticket w/ mxgptv and that was useless. Sorry you had issues, but also glad I wasn't the only one.  Hopefully more people complained so they know its a "real problem" and not just an isolated event and blame it on user error

I also opened a ticket and got the "try deleting cookies, different internet, etc."  I told them I have tried 4 different devices and three different internet providers (at home, work, Starbucks, etc.) and that the social media has a lot of people experiencing the same thing.

But at least you are in Hawaii having issues....hahaha

We will see.......

LOL, thx for the reminder to change my profile.  Wife and I moved from Hawaii to Idaho a bit over 2 years ago.

They did. Well at least the part that was the worst. They replaced the s-turn in the lower part of the terrain with a big triple. They brought in new dirt (to bury the rocks...). They tried to open it up a bit more. Let's hope it works out this year. I was there at the end of last year and will be there this weekend a well. The track is better in person (with some elevation difference) than it seems on tv.

I don't know for the 125 series (with Heitink, Katona, Keith, Bervoets, McCullough, Mannini, Mantovani, Alvisi... too many names😅) but I guess 250 should play out between Ivano Van Erp (4th in EMX250) and Janis Reisulis (EMX125 champion in 2023 but injured in 2024, recently beat his older brother Karlis in the opening French elite round).

At the moment i dont see any other contenders 250. I think the group behind those two has a lot of depth with a bunch of guys capable of getting top 5s, but structurally top 5 riders i don't know. Let's say a lot of riders similar to what Soulimani did last year. Around top 5 but not often on the podium

McCullough is in his 4th year on the 125, big lad as well.

❗️UPDATE TIME❗️
As you know last Sunday during the second heat in Argentina I suffered a strong blow to my knee that will keep me out of the Spanish Grand Prix.
I'm very sorry but we are working hard to get back in the race as soon as possible.
A huge THANK YOU to my guardian angels@pffisio @loryx66 @almasportlab @enovis_italiawho are doing their best to get me back on track, and thanks to all of you for your support.
See you soon, I promise!!
AF ❤️💪

Friends of mine are already in Cózar. A lot of rain and cold temperatures (less than 10°C / 50°F).

obviously weather forecasts often tend to not actually happen as forecasted

But the current forecast says 3mm and 4mm on saturday and sunday, with 11 on friday. I don't know what the current state of the track is but that quantity of rain should not be an issue during the weekend if the track is in a decent state

I think that for Vitezslav Marek is first attendance in EMX250 class. He is very, very talented rider, but last year due to injury have no seat time. So good luck in 2025

That's not a forecast, that's today's weather as experienced by people I know.

Marc-Antoine Rossi out with a shoulder injury. Needs to get surgery.

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Marc-Antoine Rossi will have surgery to repair damage to his right shoulder next week and will immediately start the rehab process in order to return to FIM MX2 Motocross World Championship duty.

The promising French youngster suffered a dislocation of the joint after a fall while training last Friday (7 March). The 18-year-old had a thorough medical check at the hospital in Lyon where an operation was decided to repair a fracture as the best course of action, and for a proper recovery to full strength. The procedure will take place on Monday 17 March.

Rossi, who admirably dealt with a knee injury that curtailed his 2024 Grand Prix campaign, is now focused on the tightest possible time frame to get back to the MX2 field and join teammates Andrea Adamo, Sacha Coenen and Simon Laengenfelder for the second half of the season.

Brent Van Doninck won't line up neither, and aims for Sardinia to make his comeback.

I imagine in the Venn diagram of VitalMX users and Cervantes readers you'd need a microscope to find the overlap.
