Thanks for the reply. Tell you what I’m glad there’s people who love this sport enough to own and operate tracks.  It’s got to be frustrating as hell to listen to some guy with an $8k -$12k motorcycle showing up in an $50,000 truck bitching and moaning about five or $10’ Thanks by the way 👍

I'm happy paying $50 a day, all day long. The small amount of people you would lose would be offset by the additional gate fee.

The new $50.00 entry fee at Perris hasn't kept any of the squids or wanna be heroes out.

Oh the days…$80 per month for unlimited riding, picking either Milestone, Perris or State Fair on almost any given day. All 3 were superb pretty much every time. Gotta say the layout at Perris had it right.
If it were just me a few extra bucks would be easy however having to keep 3 riders going it just comes to a point of financial priorities. Did I see it correctly that Perris is going to be $70 ($50 rider / $20 spectator) for a parent to take their kid to ride?

My thoughts exactly. The people running milestone/perris/and state fair at the time to my knowledge were in some sketchy business.

You guys with all your conspiracies are soo far off it's kinda funny and it's all the reason why we don't have a JS63MX.  Every dollar from Milestone MX passed through my hands in the final few years and your comments about illegal business and the trash talk about the owner made him stop putting money into the project.  Lame comments like this made us lose a person who was investing in a new track when they didn't have to.  There was no environmental issues with JS63MX.  I got the CUP after working with the County for 4 years.  It was all ready to go but so many people hated on the owner for no reason he said goodbye to MX.

Never trash talked the owner. Actually spoke well of him when he ran the tracks. Nice try putting words in my mouth Donn. Simply just said “I have heard” and didn’t give any detail…

Btw I’m in the business and am building a facility in another state. The trash talk and false rumors have affected me to. I am not spreading info that’s just heresy. It came from valid sources… Again good to know it’s not true if it’s not. But just saying I am under fire with false rumors and BS as well.

If you have the same false rumors being thrown at you, why not keep your mouth shut about these guys since you understand what they're going through?

I don’t have the same rumors just other rumors. Like I said I had heard from a valid source. But hey if it’s not true that’s cool.

And you don’t think some of the people spreading rumors about you didn’t hear it from “valid sources” in their world, too?

Not Donn...

"I have heard" when it's in fact false is in fact a form of trash talk.  Know what you are saying before you repeat nonsense about "Cartel" or "Money Laundering" is all I am saying.

Welcome to the jungle of track owners/operators.  Good luck and thank you.

So....

Is the track re-opening? I dream about the IV track daily and get so depressed that I can't ride it. That was my jam. I thought the last owners did an amazing job with the facility. I also agree if they toned the main down a bit they would get more business from people who can actually ride it. Not wanting to hit blind 75ft doubles doesn't make you a squid.

I know you hit blind 75 ft booters....don't lie Smile

But I was never a fan of Elsinore dirt but still want it to reopen. More tracks the better.

But I must say years ago the big booter in the middle was a blast. I will have to look for a pic.

And Aaron, that sucks to have to deal with the noise that has nothing to do with the track, the truth, etc.

I'd like to know where the Cartel and Money Laundering rumors started because they were around for a very long time and I had heard them from very respected people in the moto industry. I found it hard to believe, but that rumor seemed to have gotten around to everyone in the So Cal moto world. I'd just like to know where the hell it came from and who started it.

Agree with you on the main track. Last time I was there only a handful of guys were riding the main. I did a lap and would have loved to do more, but having not been on a bike regularly for the last few years there were just too many obstacles I had no business doing. The Vet was cool to get comfortable again and the the IV was fun, but I just wanted more than what the IV had to offer and less of what the main had 😂

Not yet and there has been zero activity at the track. I put in another public records request last week but no reply yet. The only name I came across is Jessie Talbot, but I have never heard of him.

Talbot, oh no hopefully not a Utah family…. They seem to have far more money than brains.

Ok, here is all the latest info from the Elsinore Mayors Instagram account, which includes additional links.

Bottom line is that an Experienced track manager, Bryan Wallace, whom currently runs Fox, and a professional track builder, are teaming up to run the track. The biggest hurdle they face is getting approval from the city counsel. The Mayor wants the track to reopen, and in general. most on the city counsel are leaning that way as well, however, if they have a public meeting on it, they will get enormous dissent from the homeowners that are closest to the track. These are the same homeowners that helped to some degree, kill the previous Amazon deal.

I recently heard directly from one of the security guards at Elsinore, that they hoping to reopen in August. Other people have said it will be in April, but I find that to be overly optomistic and a bit unrealistic, but only time will tell when and if it will happen.

If you're a registered voter in the district,  go to the counsel meetings. I'm sure the normies that live in the tract housing close to the track are more active in the community than the local dirtbike rider.

Everyone needs to show up to support the track at the meeting. I remember when Perris was threatened to be shut down due to citizen complaints (noise, dust, etc.). We put the call out and so many people showed up for the city meeting that it was standing room only and they could not even hold all the people that showed.  So the "yays" greatly outnumbered the "nays" and the council members noticed.

When is the city council meeting?

I will be going to city hall early next week to find out whatever I can.

Yes, if they have a public meeting, flooding it with people is the best plan.
