Some random thoughts... so DB went on coach robs show to talk about his path. Didn't get into drama or details. Really good show btw. I think he's done talking about it and doesn't want to engage with Matthes on it at all. yea his video was emotional but I don't think he's as bitter as ppl may make him out to be (watch coach robs vid). So, kudos to him for not feeding the matthes media machine; and choosing how to say his piece and move on.
Weeges take on today's moto60 show was pretty fair. He rightfully asserts he wouldn't let this ordeal sway his own path but gives DB a lot of credit as well. Matthes is a little more critical and is probably offended Blair didn't confide more in him, who knows. I smell a potential for a bit of a GL/Ping rift there.

Never experienced entertainment/tv business myself, but have read a shit ton of books about it. They read like fiction with delicate egos, inflated self worth, sex, lies, general back stabbing and weirdness.

You're correct. It has media people but not journalists. Journalists are required to be objective and to use multiple sources for their stories. In this day and age that is increasingly not the case due to the destruction of the news industry by the internet. It is, however, still the ideal. The moto 'media' is made up of ex-industry, or industry connected, amateur enthusiasts.
