Hate seeing so many of these guys hurt. It's ridiculous at this point the frequency of guys taking gnarly spills. At what point do you dial it back a notch or two and just survive the whole season?

Would legit love to see an independent test rider ride it b2b with the star bike and give his opinion of rideability. Would pay $$ to get Kitchens opinion. I.e. is there something to it or not, b/c the bike sorta seems edgy af

Didn't haymaker go down in the main also?

That was unfortunately 100% on Levi. Any bike would have unloaded the same way trying to go through it like that. He carried the front end too light into and it didn't compress enough to get any rebound. That's why they were saying he went into it too fast. You need the front end to compress at that high of speed for it to rebound and level the bike out. On a slower obstacle like the wheel tap last weekend it's not necessary, but not a high speed obstacle like that.

I know, you're right on this, he slapped it pretty hard. But the aggregate number of freak crashes points to the bike being 5% or something less forgiving than maybe some others.

He hasn’t been the only one struggling to be nose down in that section

Having the camera on mitch and seeing his live reaction as levi yard sales it right in front of him was brutal!

My first thought when they were showing Mitch was, “dammit, I hope Levi doesn’t go down now.” 10 seconds later……

Everyone knows Mitch can be tough (not necessarily a bad thing) on the racers....Could Mitch be pushing the riders too hard for the win? MAYBE... the riders wouldn't crash out so much if they weren't under preasure. Like Ricky and James say, Let the race come to them and  not force it.    Just thinking out loud

You don’t think star pushes just as hard if not harder?

Kitchen is the last person on PC I thought that would get injured.

Hammaker has a history too, let's see if he makes it through.

The prophecy will be fulfilled and Jesus will finally return when PC fields a 1 man 450 team and hires Sexton for the job.

Not sure if they do or dont... i worked for a team for 14 years and knew pretty much all the riders in the pits. I never got to know Mitch, But knew his riders then.  Heard 2 outcomes from his leadership....you either excelled or cracked under his style.  I am not ,in anyway, saying what he is doing is bad.  I am just wondering IF preasure is partially part of the reason these riders are crashing

I see it as Levi was really going for it, got kicked and was going a little too fast to save it. I don’t see if being the bike. McAdoo, forkner, hammaker are senders and crashes. Shoot look at what Forkers doing right now by not sending it and risking a crash, getting 8ths. He wasn’t accepting that position on Mitch’s bikes.

This is correct. Levi's crash was on him today but he's not a 'fuck he looks like he's always about to crash' rider like the others on PC. Forkner says he's trying to get through the season but it's not the first time he's tried this approach. I remember he did in outdoors a few years back. Got through the whole season but was barely cracking top tens. As for McAdoo, he's not fast enough unless he throws all caution to the wind. Hammaker will be interesting as he's now training at the Lawrence compound and working on his technique. So far he looks to not be quite as sketchy.

I don't wish bad on anyone, but maybe this is karma.

Mike Brown should have won the 2005 MX championship.

Yeah, but his seat came off at one of the races. Had to stand on the pegs for about half that race. But, yes, that year he raced a Honda with PC motors and I'm pretty sure he blew at least one up that season.

But that seat coming off was on his mechanic. And he still had a good finish I believe

Macadoo is probably out for the rest of the season too. Pulled by the team. Knee just can’t hang on.

What’s wild is he got kicked the same exact way the lap prior it’s right on camera. And he hits it even harder the next lap?

It has been widely reported that Brown got more or less stock engines back from PC that year and not the stuff they should have gotten/payed for.
