Trump Zelensky

Zelensky clearly doesn’t know who he’s dealing with in Trump. He should know better but Z spent too much time around Biden the last 4 years to be thinking straight.   Sheesh. 

That was fucking crazy. 

Zelenskyy dug his heels in and he ain't gonna give up anything for peace. I'm actually surprised at Trumps response., .it appears Trump wants to meet Putin in the middle and Zelensky says fuck that and walked out.

Personally,  would not give putin anything.....

Only that I as well, am stunned. The world has changed tremendously.

This is how Trump negotiates. They’ll find common ground. Trump know he cannot leave Ukraine defenseless. Plus he wants those mineral rights!  If Ukraine falls to Russia, the real shit show begins.

Stunned at what I’ve just seen.

He prides himself as a deal maker and ending the invasion has been a very loud campaign promise, so maybe just Trump trying to soften Zelensky up to be more pliable in negotiations. I wouldn't be surprised if a few weeks from now, things change. It'd be too big of a public failure for him if this were actually the end of negotiations, plus he's barely been in office for a month. 

That's very possible. 

On a side note:  DT & JD  were talking to Zel  like he was some kind of a little kid in trouble.  I felt bad for the guy to a certain degree. lol  All he was trying to say was he didn't trust Putin and Putin doesn't care about any ceasefire. Putin will do what he wants. Zel learned that from the last ceasefire. 

I don't know how Americans, especially those who voted for him will see this, but from the outside looking in, the USA cannot be trusted as an ally anymore. Its a sad thing, because the aggressors of the world are going to see what's happening and realize that they can get away with anything as long as they're nice to Trump about it. Dark day. 

Trump and Vance has shown their true colours as loud as possible.

It might be all part of a play to look tough, so when the deal gets done, people look back at stuff like this and think only Trump could have gotten it done because he's tough. Plus, if the deal does get done, it's going to look like Trump was tough and so Zelensky must have tucked his tail. Trump reeeeaaaally likes it when he looks tough and his opponent looks subservient. The more I think about this, the more this scenario seems likely. 

Trump is a big-picture guy got drug into the weeds when his position was questioned. He does not want Ukraine falling on his watch, as Russia would feel supercharged by the victory.  Putin’s nobody’s friend and will extend his reach if allowed, exactly as Zelenskyy forecasts. 

All I have to add is.....f**k that little shit Zelensky.    Time for him to go.

Let's switch it up, if Putin was sitting there instead, would Trump and JD have acted the same? I say hell no.

What an embarrassment for the United States

Zelinsky could have showed respect by wearing a suit and tie. What a dipshit. That is no way to show up to a meeting with the leader of the free world. 

I think it would have been a much different conversation without Vance. Vance set the table for the tension and elicited a rather predictable response from Zelensky that set Trump off. Demanding gratitude is generally an odd thing to do. If you're holding the cards and want to send that message, magnanimity is typically more effective. Then you look great when you offer something, and the message that the other party should be grateful is implied and much more powerful. How would any of us respond if someone basically demanded that we grovel? I don't think that went well for anyone. I can't help but think Trump would have handled that much better on his own, and that Vance is out of his depth. 

But what do I know? It could have gone exactly as planned, for reasons that escape me.
