I guess Stewart should be considered if he races the last 4 rounds , but I think it should go to someone who has been competing the entire series.

Right now....I would vote for Canard , Short and Dungey.

Of course james couldn't race the first 3/4 of the season because of his hand. BUT,....."would he" of raced any Nationals at all if it weren't for his injury?

I doubt it......But if he looks good and strong out there , and he wants to do it , then maybe he should get picked.

Either way....it'll be nice to see him back out doors again.
dude...it is not a prize for someone who has been riding the 'whole series'. It is a chance to send our best!!! If anyone thinks 7 isn't one of out best(yes, even now) then you are disillusional...

Dungey
Stewart
Canard

Dungey and the zook are unbeatable right now. Dont see AC hanging on more than a few laps. my 2 cents.

AC would have smoked Dungey at Lommel today, but at Colarado? It will be close Pourcel will be right there too as will Desalle.

Everyone seems to forget Cairoli beat Dungey last year..Desalle was as fast as him too... so to say Ryan is at another level just because of his nationality is pure ignorance. Ryan is great and obviously faster than last year..but so is Cairoli.. In a GP series Cairoli would win I think. In the US maybe Dungey, but it would be close.

The US are just lucky it is not Europe v USA or it would be embarassing for you guys! Wink

uh, USA vs Europe? Wouldn't that be a country vs a continent? wow, if you really think it takes a whole continent to produce 3 riders as good as our best 3 then you are RIGHT!

i love the GP guys over here, it is where the fast guys are so it is where the fast guys come...Everts was smart, stay home and be King...he didn't want to contend with Ricky...even though he beat James once, he still didn't want to deal with that either day in and day out...

I am embarrassed about how ignorant and cowardly I have made Europeans. I apologize.

Fortunately, they will be rendered extinct by their own weaknesses; I have My Almighty Finger on the Smite button now.

The US will win the 2010 MXDN.

Amen. All praise Me.

Pure ignorance is confusing fiction with fact, luck with talent and underestimating the competition. Luck is you guys not seeing JS7, RV2 and Dungey as a MXDN team. We have not forgotton what happened last year. We won again.Wink

AC pulls holeshots. Dungey does not. Thunder Valley is narrow and one lined. My money is on AC for the overall.

Dungey's first time on a big bike. Unfamiliar with track. Very GREEN compared to all the vets there. I think he has gotten alot better. He will be very hard to beat. If James goes, he's the only one that could beat Dungey. Either way, as long as no crashes and mechanicals, USA will win easy. Whether it's James or Short, with Dungey and Canard. Tedesco as alternate. He ruled colorado last year.

When Stewart destroys RD (which I think he will) and wins the last 8 Moto's Decoster is going to have no choice but to make Stewart the number one guy on the team USA exhibition team. That moves Dungey to the Open guy

Can AC beat Stewart? NOPE!!!

AMA bikes are louder and use better fuel, your bikes are faster d****ss.
How is it cheating if your bike is slower?

Trey is riding with a confidence right now thats something else. We could see something happening at spring creek in person, His lines in moto one were off, and he watched pourcel and learned.... Next moto he came out and killed it.

I think he's going to be hard to beat, but MM is no slouch thats for sure. The altitude thing can really hit guys who aren't ready for it.

Your assuming stewart can run two full moto's.

His speed will be there I have no doubt, but really no one can predict if he'll tire out.

Just wondering what is a d****ss, is that *icksa**??? I don't know???

Anyway, all you guys slobbering over AC, stop calling him AC, it's annoying as hell. You can start calling him what we call him in the US....

2nd place!!!!!!!!!!!

And please, somebody that knows him advise him to get some damn braces, gees that guys grill is tweaked. I wouldn't make fun of how someone looked if they couldn't help it, but that guys got plenty of money, and braces aren't that expensive. Hell the other AC (Adam Cianciarulo) just got his off. Every time I see that guys ugly mug I think I'm looking at some sort of a zoo exhibit. Get it fixed dude, it's cheap...

ROTFLMASO

The best parted about that post by our fine Canadian colleague is after Stewys all wore out in the second moto like you state, he will still proceed to lap that poor Canadian rider in 34th place that running just behind the Chinaman on his Chinese built Backfire 450!

For the second time!!!

And what the hell, the third time!!!

Not really busting on Canadians, just having some fun.

Do we even know if AC is gonna ride the 350 in the MxoN? Has this been confirmed?

I think he'd be wise riding the 450 @ Thunder Valley..

Stewart's 80% in Dungey's 100%. 2 moto's is not going to be a problem at Dungey's speed.

There is no way Cairoli has improved as much as Dungey in the past year. Not a chance. AC is a seasoned MX1 rider, his learning curve has almost leveled off, and it takes a ton of effort for him to improve even a little bit. Dungey is a MX1 rookie...his learning curve this past year has been steep! And he as a result he is improving by leaps and bounds! He'll have AC handled. Alessi was with AC at Glen Helen the 1st moto, and BT smoked AC the 2nd moto....neither Alessi nor BT have been close to Dungey all summer. And AC won't beat Dungey at the MXdN.(And I'm a HUGE Cairoli fan. HUGE! But I can't ignore reality either).

I thought they always announced the MXoN team at Red Bud? What's the deal? Waiting to see if the great JS will honor us with his presence? This is bullshit. Pick the damn team as always. Short deserves it, he's fast enough, he's consistant, he holeshots. What the hell do you want. Even if JS comes back and wins it would still be wrong to pick him. He's proven he doesn't care about American MX. Let hinm watch it on TV.

I disagree. We need to send our best. James is certainly our best. And if James is healthy and willing, he should be on the team, no questions asked.

Our team should be:

Stewart
Dungey
Canard

If Stewart doesn't want to go, then send Short.

AC did what he had to do and went out with a overall, he won first moto and settled for second, simple enough. Plus bt and alessi practice all season long in Glen helen a bit of a advantage but AC being the skilled dominant rider he is, still came up on ttop. Dungey is going to be suprised at what AC has in stored.

Hey if we want to send our best send RC. Yea, I said it. RC raced didn't he? I mean he's been retired but what the hell. Let's just wait until the last minute to see if JS can produce. What are the requirements anyway? What if he doesn't beat RD? Will he still be picked? What if he only runs one race? Send him anyway? What about one moto? Sit the prima-donna on the couch where he likes to be.

Post a reply to: Dungey the 350 will be.....
