So, last year I just paid to see the MXdN. I'm pretty sure I did not sign up for an autorenewal . I got an email last week saying they were going to charge my CC for the full upcoming season and if I did not want this to log in and cancel autorenewal. So I did.
And what happened this morning? The fuckers charged my credit card anyways.
They don’t have an annual subscription as far as I am aware, it’s a season pass. So if you signed up for the full season at the end of 2024 you got access to all 2024 events, even though all but the nations was in the past. So your season pass for 2024 has expired and they have auto renewed you for 2025.
Yep, just got charged for another year.
When I signed up to watch MXoN last fall I checked the box to not auto renew, because I hate auto renewals with a passion.
I got an email last week saying it would auto renew, so I logged in to my account and cancelled my subscription. Ive got the cancellation email to prove it.
"Sorry to see you go" but happy enough to charge me another $155 anyway.
So yeah. MXGPTV can fuck off.
Same here. Fortunately I just had a monthly sub but I tried to email and contact them through their chat bot and contact page and told them not to renew. I even deleted my credit card details. Strange thing was, I couldn't cancel my sub because I didn't have a current sub in my profile. I kept getting automated emails that they had responded and were closing my support ticket but I never got a response? Got charged anyway. Seems scammy for sure.

That is exactly what happened to me. My CC sent me a text to ask if i recognized this charge. I thought by hitting "no" it would dissalow the charge but instead they locked my card. Now i am online "chatting" with some bot to get my card unlocked and figure out if indeed they charged my card.
What a cluster fuck
I’ve had the subscription for the best part of 10 years and it’s never auto renewed for me. I’ve always bought it when the early bird deal is on.
I was going to use their chat bot to get this refunded, but figured it would be a waste of time. Probably easier to just dispute the charge on my card.
I will buy your subscription for 50% off
Me too
I paid for the early bird pass this year and yesterday received an email saying my monthly subscription was about to be renewed. Last year I did it monthly because I wasn't convinced I'd still have interest towards the end of the season (turns out I was wrong, Kay and Lucas had me glued the whole way), but as soon as the season finished I cancelled because why would I need it from October to now. So the cheeky fuckers have auto renewed the monthly subscription even though this year I've already paid in full. I haven't been charged yet and obviously cancelled the monthly subscription as soon as I got the email, but I gotta feeling I will get charged for at least a month. I won't be happy if I do. You try and do the right thing and support the sport you love and then get bent over by the robbing bastards. I'm still disgusted with them for the Paris sx feed not working for a solid hour and them not even apologising for it. Wankers.
MOTHER FUCKERS wont refund me.
I changed my profile last week so I wouldn't get charged and yet they charged me anyways!
Fuck you MXGP
how many threads we need about this..... every single day now 🫣

I used to subscribe to MXGP-TV for a few seasons and watched it quite a bit, especialy sitting on the rower or spin bike, and they used to give you back seasons. Didn't they change it where you only have access to the current season now?
I haven't had a subscription for a couple of years and find the price increases annoying. And now finding out INFRONT jacked the prices of Diamond VIP to $2500 from the $1100 I paid last year at Matterly has me all sorts of pissed at them to where I could give two shits about the TV pass.
I know its not the same, but I have been watching the highlights on the Tube.
The price varies depending on where the race is. I assume organsier has a say in it.
Well, I hope for my unwanted charge of $168.78 I get the MXdN race also. I've bought that single race each of the past few years and didn't know something changed where they would charge me for the upcoming season. I just made sure and unsubscribed and deleted all payment info so this doesn't happen again.
I already spend way too much time watching/following the US races.
Oh well.
Even though INFRONT has been raising the price of the tv pass, its still pretty reasonable considering all you get access too, but like you said, only so much time to watch moto. Especially in the summer when I'd much rather be out riding myself!
Yup canceled my subscription awhile back and got hit with a $154 charge this morning and they won’t refund it.
All of your need to do a charge back on your CCs. They get hit with a bunch of those at once they will fix it.
Pit Row
Yeah, contacting them clearly won't work. I tried every angle. The fact that you can't reply to their email gives the while deal a slimy feel. Plus why the F&$% would I renew a monthly subscription a week and a half before the season starts?
Reeks of despiration. Slamming their multi-year customers with auto renewals that they can't cancel just to get a revenue boost.
Why would I want to pay $$$$ for the GP’s when I watch them on regular tv on Sunday morning?
I got charged a yearly subscription on 10/5/24 then again 2/20/25.
I haven't had that happen , the double charge, with MXGPTV sub (yet), but that crap has now happened to me for the last 2 years with the US MX / SX / SMX package.
They took their time last year to do a refund, and, they are doing so, again.
Bastards - whichever one pulls that sort of crap......
Had pretty much the same experience. Here's my story.
Back in January, I purchased the early birds yearly subscription and it was the only subscription in my account.
Earlier this month, I received an email that my monthly subscription will be active on February 20. Before my monthly subscription was even active/visible, I contacted MXGP support team via email. They told me I don't have any active/upcoming subscription and I should be fine. Just to be safe, I deleted my credit card from the site.
On February 19, I received email that my monthly subscription auto-renew will be active on February 20. I logged to my account within an hour of receiving the active auto-renew subscription email, cancelled the subscription and contacted the support team again. Now waiting to see what will happen.
In the active subscriptions, I have the cancelled monthly auto-renew subscription that was supposed to be activated on February 20 and the early birds yearly subscription.
Me too. I just checked the T&Cs and it has got a badly written auto-renew clause which I've never seen before. It says you can cancel ''via our website'' but I can't see where.
Since I had a beef with Paypal charging me a bunch for the exchange rate a few years ago I've used Amex just in case there's problem.
I'm usually a big fan of MXGP TV but them introducing auro-renew on the sly really sucks.
So I was going to get it this year anyway , but they seemed to of took it up on themselves to charge me $159.31 today. I bought the 2024 MXoNs race and paid an extra $5.99 for the full 2024 season pass. All that moto for 6 bucks was worth it. But this?? This is kinda shady AF!
I got the auto renew email too. I logged in & hopefully i got it cancelled in time. It would put me off buying the des Nats pass again. Very poor & dishonest business customer service
This is a real good way to permanently lose a very large portion of their subscription base. And I don't mean just because we're discussing it here , I mean there are probably 1000's of people who got hit with this charge today that aren't to happy about it.
It's stupid on their part.
In Europe there is a 14 day cancellation period rule in which you can cancel a contract within 14 days for any reason. Googling around the 14 day period rule seems to apply each time there's an auto-renew of the contract.
So I would advise anyone who wants to cancel their auto-renew to exercise their right to cancel under the 14 day cancellation clause in the contract and do it now.
Watch the most exciting MXGP race action LIVE and on Demand.
But sadly they'll scam more people than they'll lose.
I stand to be corrected but when signing up the auto renewal box is checked with a tick, so it's up to the subscriber to uncheck the box. This is how they catch you.
My buddy subscribed to SuperMotocross last year not knowing there was a auto renewal at play. He paid again in December and then the auto renewal took another payment a week later.
And guess what? There is not email or contact for him to reach out to in order to get his money back.
When I looked into his SuperMotocross account info I found the little auto renewal box checked.
This is how they catch people and it pisses me off.
