Sad but true. I like 'em both and wish nothing but the best, but insanity is doing the same thing over and over yet expecting a different result. Even at the amateur level we have kids we've raced against for years that have the same issue - lots of speed and can't stay off the ground. I know a fast 125 kid that at 16 has already broken 8+ bones. I know 2 others that have stopped riding as a result of injuries, 1 after his second femur break in 18 months. My own semi-fast kid has been "lucky" with just 2 broken bones, a bruised spleen, and 4 or 5 concussions before 18. Fvckig sport is a meat grinder.

Because of stuff like this I frikkin love the Internet. 

None of us are laughing or thinking about how we can search out photos and use our photoshop.

Agreed. Some kids are just “crashers” Fast as hell but never can seem to stay off the deck. I’d rather see a kid be decently fast but in control.

First one at 7 on 50s when a kid lost control on the start and shot across the line and nailed JB outta nowhere. Never saw it coming. It was a big hit. 
Last one was Albany this year jumping into the whoops. They took it out the next day. 
I do think about the long-term effects. I stopped because of repeated concussions. It worries me for both of us. 
He seems ok. Smart kid, good in school (college now) and usually makes good decisions. Lazy but he’s gen z and I’ve spoiled him so some is on me.
