Good for him, it's the right thing to do (and a better team).

He's having a tremendous rookie season!

Who do you think will be the other 2 in the team? Are Simpson and Searle healthy?

You think Simpson and Searle would be better than Klatt and Colt (assuming that is who the rest of Team Canada would be..)?

Personally, I don't

Remind me. How did the Canadian champ Dusty Klatt get on in the AMA?

Get over it! NOT riding for Canada is the best thing Wilson could do for his career. Besides, we don't even HAVE a team in Canada yet, and when we do, it looks like Facciotti and Klatt won't be on it anyway (because of their team's other commitments).

That said, I think Colton, if healthy and probably Klatt are both on a par with Simpson and Searle- not better maybe, but competitive.

I totally support his decision, why would he send himself back to the b-final with team canada when there is no support and the 2 best canadians from the cmrc can't race it because of their teams other commitments.

He definitely puts an end to the debate if he is canadian or scotish 1st in that interview, for the best to put that behind him either way. He must of heard that question a thousand times.

This is awesome news - for us! haha. Now we actually have a shot at the podium!

So.. I'm guessing Dean 250f & Searle + Simpson both on 350s! Unless Anstie gets a look in.

This kid has to have some seriously HUGE years ahead of him! No rookie since Trey was this "consistent" or whatever you want to call it. Whatever it is, its fast. Keep ur gangly ass body intact dude cus, u got skillzzzz!! P.S. I'd totally rep Scotty over Canada, oh and on dirt bikes too...

I blame Mark stallybrass (staleballs) and his ego for this one.

The Blackfoot riders ( Colt & Klatt) can't race because of conflicts with the sanctioning body (staleballs rules the CMRC) and the MXdn's sanction comes from the CMA...

Deano was smart to stay out of the shit fight up here in Canada.

Canada will most likely be Klatt/Faciotti/TMedaglia which could be a good shot

I just hope Canada will make it to MXdN!

I think Klatt can run with the best f them!!!

Boy, Canadian motocross really is dead. The best rider with a Canadian passport moved out when he was on 80s and he's already way too good for us, TV coverage is long dead and even hammertime's site is down. Time to close the doors folks.

Faciotti's injured. I highly doubt any Blackfoot rider will attend.

I think that's part of the reason Deano left. Last year the best Canadian riders stayed back to race the Montreal SX w/blackfoot. If the best Canadians aren't even showing up why would Deano want to go and race the B final?

I think it's BS that Canada schedules their biggest sx of the year to conflict w/the des nations.

I agree.

Why on earth would the Canadian sanctioning body schedule races that interfere with the MXoN? The obvious result being that their 2 best riders can't race because of a stoopidcross in Montreal or whatever it is.

I'm baffled by that.

Now that would be a reversal of fortune as he's been smoking 99% of the AMA lites guys at every round this season.
How he compares against Musquin, Roczen & frossard will be interesting?

Oooohh sour grapes!! Truth is the guy grew up in the UK so he's entitled to go with a UK passport and do you really think Musquin wouldn'n win an AMA moto or run top 3 or 4 as you'd think?
As for Simpson,he can start, but fades due to fitness and Searle is sadly unfit too,Anti has had a lot of bangs but quick,if you want guts, heart and commitment,Brad Anderson is a good choice on the big bike

Ha ha ha you think those guys would be top four in a World Championship?! challenging for wins in the AMA ? They wouldn't challenge for a British championship!

Get real.... Ireland's riders are as good as Canada's if not better.

Dean made the right move and with Simpson and Searle on full form if chosen a podium is very possible.
