I rewatched it numerous times wondering the same thing. Juju was crouched down and stood up. There were a lot of guys to the right of Deegan that he would want to avoid. He didn’t aim for him, but he also didn't put in a big effort to avoid it. He was probably just aiming for the middle of the gap that was in front of him. I think it was just a split second racing moment.
