That Zmax track map took me a minute to figure out where the hell the track was going after the first lap, back to back start gates is cool.

I just bought tickets for seats looking down the tunnels. Praying I can’t see that entire section from my seat.

Does that mean they have to move those whole gate setups out of the way after the start takes off?  Or am I looking at it wrong?

no if you look close to where they would come back around to where the gate is they are turning left across then right turn then jump over the area they meet at after the start.

OK, that makes more sense.  If they didn't do that, then that middle section wouldn't get used.

I hate that Instagram images don't let you zoom in for more detail.  (Or at least I don't know how to do it.)

Zmax is wild, props to the creativity on that one, at least on paper. Always have to wait and see how it races.

What is the code to unlock tickets?

I’m not sure there is much more to it. Looks like a sand section with a 180 and comes back. Hopefully there’s more to it.

The Lost Wages layout is what I envision when it comes to SMX.

im not goona lie to yal boiiss , maybe i just gotta wait to see how it unfolds but im not sold on them with this idea of the dome at St. Louis, just looks like a lil more sandier version of a MEC style track , nothing too special

I'm kind of curious if they're rolling with the idea of a Hybrid, Stadium, and MX style track for the series and this is what they came up with.

Seems weird that they did not show the convention center part

Agreed..... makes me think they don't really have a plan yet.....

No st louis or Nashville sx round this year and stl sx always seems to get decent attendance so I'm certain the decision to go there has everything to do with cheap venue and expectation of good crowd, not because anyone thought this would make for a great track.

It took me awhile to find the start, and even longer to figure out how the track reconnects

Guess this solves the pulp issue of the starts being too wide

What am I missing? I’ve seen a bunch of comment like this but the track looks extremely straight forward. It has an even wider start straight than normal too since its split with. Unless I’m looking at it wrong?

It wasn't obvious to me that they make a left turn as they come into the start section.

That makes much more sense. I thought the first slide on the post was Charlotte, not Vegas! 🤦‍♂️
