Found it, did seem like Deegs hit his front wheel. But JuJu didn't immediately go down, his awkwardness to the bump is probably just as much the cause of the crash as the bump itself.

Beaumer just got caught in no man’s land. He either needed to check up earlier and let Deegan have the spot and try to counter, Or fully commit to the turn and try to lean on Deegan. The latter probably wouldn’t have worked to well with how the situation was set up.

As far as JuJu's post and Deegans comment, whether or not it's just Deegan being Deegan or if he's really that much of a clown, most of those blue check marks in the industry are on JuJu's side lol.
The Deegan mob is strong, and they are the ones the advertisers and YouTube algorithm payout for, but man inside the industry there doesn't seem to be a lot of support for the kid. I mean other than the Monster and Star contracts. Such a strange dichotomy.

I didn't notice that when I re-watched but I think you might be right. JuJu seems caught off guard when he accelerates, which would make sense if his bike was hooked to Deegs' bike.
Its not like he's going to change overnight. Give him a few years to grow up, experience life more and learn from mistakes.
I would usually agree with this, but the bubble he lives in and who controls it is NOT going to change. This is all by design, and we know who the designer is. He is who he is, just like JuJu. The difference is good for the sport, but man for me it makes it really easy to choose who I cheer for. Regardless of the riding.
Everyone was so quick to praise him for that "humble" interview at San Diego, but to me that was pure theatrics and didn't come across as genuine at all. Still something to be said for the words he chose, but this week is who he REALLY is.
I REALLY wanted to like him, his actual riding is phenomenal, especially outdoors.
The Deegans want Haiden to be the most popular racer in Supermotocross. In this day and age, with social media, forums, smart phones, etc the way to do that is to be outrageous and controversial. Celebrities do this all the time, and the more outrageous you are, the more popular you become. Hell, politicians now do this to get elected.
I expect more and more of this from Haiden, look at all the "beefs" he's had with other racers. Most of these beefs are completely orchestrated, WWE style. Gotta be controversial. The ultimate goal is to drive more people to their YouTube channel and other socials.... I still have yet to watch a single Deegan video thank you very much.
When he moves up to the premier class in sx, he'll get humbled when Jett blows his doors off
