There was another agent a few years back who got into something... Maybe Reed's? Wasnt a legal issue, but something where they decided to vomit out a defense on social media. It was bad. All I could think about was the poor grammar.

I just think it's weird to let someone represent you who couldn't pass high school English. Then again, maybe it's more important to be the "cool guy"? I don't know... Is that how deals get made? Bro down? The moto industry do be like that sometimes (all the time). 🤣

It always amazes me how some of the most successful people are terrible at writing. I work with doctors and lawyers on a daily basis, and their grammar is terrible. I personally learned how to write more efficiently and effectively in community college, and once I transferred to a university, I was writing better than a lot of my peers. To this day, I recommend taking a couple of English and communication courses at local community colleges. Proper writing seems to be a lost art, though.

Sports agents are the biggest load of shit, to see him write in there “you will see them benefit from what I built from nothing” boils my piss. None of these riders have their career because he built them from nothing. What happens is he gets to skim a bit off the top, to make a few calls on their behalf, while they are busy dedicating their life to the sport that pays. It’s the biggest rort, Dazzy could take over his role and do it just as well tomorrow. I predict he will.

Yeah sports agents are basically sales people that could never make there quotas .  Much easier job than traveling constantly trying to talk people into buying something.  I know a few salesman they all drink a lot, from the stress. Constant our plastic  products r far superior to our competitors. I garentee you,ll be satisfied. Ah I said that 500 times today. I want to hire a agent this August.  I,ll pay ya a % of the deals you line up.

Yeah? And I know plenty of salesmen who work their assess off, are good dudes who get paid according to their worth to the company, and some don't even drink at all lol

You're entertaining some of the time. Not this time, though. You're a bit of a Vital treasure but sometimes it's just too much man.

It amazes me too. If I ever had to hire an agent who was responsible for negotiating on my behalf I'd want someone who was at least capable of articulating themselves. A pretty basic requirement I'd say.

I believe that was Astephen defending Kenny in the FIM drug testing debacle.

I can’t believe how poorly professionals represent themselves sometimes.

Hey, was Mirtl the one who helped Dazzy get the brothers’ first deal in Europe? Or did Dazzy do that on his own?

Yes, but who brokered the deal? I’m trying to understand when Lucas got involved.

Lost me at “what I built from nothing”.

This.

What? Is he implying that the Lawrence brothers are "nothing?" Did they not know how to even ride, so he got them started in the sport? Did they have no earnings potential until he met them? That's a BS take, right there.

Maybe it's just me, but I would think somewhere mixed into his incoherent rambling defense, there would be some hurt and feeling of betrayal if this wasn't true....but he's in panic mode instead.

Put yourself in his shoes. Whether we know anything or not. Lets take his at face value and he's innocent. I still wouldn't be posting online before seeing a lawyer or judge.. So something is fishy about this deal and it stinks like guilt.

If I got accused of something like this, publicly like he did, I would think I'd at least say something along the lines of "These accusations are entirely false and I am taking the appropriate steps to defend myself. Thank you for the support"

Pretty easy, you'd think...

Right? Like give some doubt. Don't press on it for paragraphs before being convicted...

How is somebody that can barely type making million dollar deals for people

Straight up panic/mental break/conspiracy theory level responses. Clearly he hasn't consulted a lawyer, or if he has....the lawyer is either a complete idiot or is extremely pissed off.

Hey @gypsytravels tell your brother to get ahold of his client man, he's making it worse!

You would think. You probably wouldn’t find yourself in this situation though. You see the response from him and it just makes you think, yea he did it.

I appreciate this information, but again, I’m trying to figure out who, if anyone, helped the family with closing the deal. The guy at Kawasaki was sitting on the opposite side of the table; if Mr. Lawrence negotiated by himself, great. Just trying to understand when Wasserman and Mirtl entered the picture.
