Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
After outdoors…I expect him to RAIL the finals.
This is ALL we should be hoping for… Just imagine
Not at this moment, wait till he will win!🤣
I expect his supercross results to be all over the place like AC's were, I'm sure Kawasaki is expecting about the same for SX. I'm sure the bar is a bit higher for the great outdoors, and rounding out the year top 10 in SMX points is an achievable goal barring injury.
How many rounds until the whoops bite him ?

I'm kinda surprised with the negativity from some prominent pundits. In one instance we hear year after year how difficult and different SX is to MX and now people seem to think that Prado should be battling around 5th from day one on a new bike to him?
I thought it was a positive start, with some obvious negatives (the crash and result). But this is purely a learning season for him.
Yeah, some of the comments are out there...
1. Chase Sexton (KTM) - 250 SX and 450 SX champ
2. Ken Roczen (Suzuki) - 250 SX champ, 2nd 3 times in 450 SX
3. Jason Anderson (Kawasaki) - 250 SX and 450 SX champ
4. Cooper Webb (Yamaha) - 250 SX and 450 SX champ
5. Eli Tomac (Yamaha) - 450 SX champ
6. Justin Barcia (GasGas) - 250 SX champ
7. Justin Cooper (Yamaha) - 250 SX champ
8. Justin Hill (KTM) - 250 SX champ
9. Aaron Plessinger (KTM) - 250 SX champ
10. Malcolm Stewart (Husqvarna) - 250 SX champ
11. Hunter Lawrence (Honda) - 250 SX champ
12. Jett Lawrence (Honda) - 250 SX and 450 SX champ
13. Shane McElrath (Honda) - finished 2nd 3 times in 250 SX
14. Jorge Prado (Kawasaki)
250 SX champs Nichols and Ferrandis did not qualify.
It's not like Prado is racing squids or anything.
Hot take? He already won a heat race lmao
Prado isn’t being force fed down our throats like Jett and Jett’s brother. At this point, every time they put a microphone in front of him, he seems like a humble guy who loves having the opportunity to come to the US and race dirt bikes. If he shows up selling overpriced donuts and a 4-figure VIP experience next week, the tides are likely to turn. At least we don’t have to hear about his life of sacrifice on the Supercross broadcast every week.
Question
How did Kenny go in his first year of super cross, I can’t remember. Kenny came over as a world champ so it’s fair to draw comparisons.

I’ll get back to you if he starts winning some nationals… You will never hear the end of it about the ”Multi time MXGP world champion that moved to America to follow his dreams”.
Right now he is not producing the results that makes for a good fairytale TV story that Weege and RC can talk about, but just wait…
And with the things he have said about Herlings before, if he starts to talk about his opponents in the states the same way, Americans will soon find him cocky just like they do when Jett say something without sugarcoating it.
I see both sides a little bit. If you want to take the position that he’s a world class rider, on a world class team, making great money, and there should be some expectation of results. I don’t think that is an unreasonable opinion to have.
But like you say, at the same time, if you’re also saying how difficult it is in SX and you don’t think he’s ever going to be good enough to win a SX title, then what do you expect from the first race.
Everything he did up to the half way point of the main was great. I didn’t like the way he rode after that, but it’s simply not going to be perfect first time out
I think it’s fine for him to be very cautious, get supercross experience and preserve himself for the future and the nationals.
that seems to be the plan and that seems reasonable and I’m not knocking that at all.
But I just don’t think anything about his riding was impressive or deserves extra praise.
He did his first SX season in 2011 at 16 (turned 17 before Salt Lake) even before winning his MXGP Mx2 title. Look up his schedule early 2011 doing SX and the first rounds of MXGP at the same time, absolutely insane.
Here his schedule for example:
April 9-10: MXGP of Bulgaria, 1st overall
April 24-25: MXGP of Netherlands, 2nd overall
April 30: Sx Lites Salt Lake City (penultimate round), 2nd overall
May 7: Sx Lites Shootout Last Vegas (Final). 3rd overall (1st West)
May 14-15: MXGP of USA, 1st overall
May 21-22: MXGP of Brazil, 2nd overall
He was a rare talent..
