lol. Did you graduate high school? The skull(bone) is not the brain. He did not have his brain removed. Although I’m starting to think you did.
Frontal lobe sits on base of skull and just above eye. They remove piece of skull, lift brain up off base of skull slightly to expose the under side of the brain and get access to the area in question. No part of the brain is detached or removed from the skull and placed on a table. Brain tissue cannot be reattached. The Google results cases involve removing parts of brain and throwing them in a trash can. Sounds like the approach or accessing the AVM was the technically difficult portion of his surgery and sure it might have taken a great surgeon with big balls to attempt it. Not downplaying it at all but describing it as brain being removed from skull is a little misleading.
Yes I did! 4 years of college too!!! And I know the difference between the skull and the brain!! The brain was not in his skull when they cut the avm out! You can ask nicely you know!! Why are being an asdhole about this?
The doctor told him it was on a dish on the table!! It was not detached from the rest of the brain, but was out of the skull enough to get to the place that needed attention! It wasn’t a foot from his head or anything like that! But it was not in his skull!! I called him a couple hours ago to make sure I was not mis-speaking!!
