Nothing like new bike day!  However, party foul for miss use of said wallet speak.

For those that don’t know, the term “spoke with my wallet” came about when 4 strokes were replacing 2 strokes and the saying was widely used when people bought a new 2 stroke with the meaning of: they were talking to the manufacturers by using their money, thru their wallet, to buy a 2 stroke hoping to send the message that people still want to buy, spend their money, on 2 strokes in hopes they keep producing them and not phase them out with 4 strokes.  Yamaha is the only Japanese brand that listened.

Happy New Year!

Sir, only the bikes of the two-stroking variety are allowed to speak with your wallet.

Anyway have tons of fun with your purchase and may your significant other never know the real sum of costs of our hobby. 😉

Thought I was coming in here to see a new 2 stroke!

Congrats on your new bike though.

Who fucking cares. Maybe this guy prefers 4 stroke to 2 strokes. So he did indeed speak with his wallet.

Can you let soggy know it’s okay to poke fun at you. Seems like he is having a rough New Year.

Congratulations on the bike. Happy New Year!

Congrats on finding a 2021 with 4 hours on it. How crazy! Looks mint. You'll need to fix those WP decals. 😀

Does anyone think this bike has any relation to the crackheads from the early 2000s who could literally fix anything with vice-grips , channel locks , a hammer and a screw driver ??

The longer you look the worse it gets 😂😂😂

To be fair, he bought a used bike so he didn’t really “speak with his wallet” when it comes to purchasing a new bike in any way. It’s not that big of a deal, everyone will always catch some shit for saying they spoke with their wallet and it isn’t a new 2 stroke from the mfg since that’s where the “meme” came from.

Looks like a nice bike OP, congrats!

I will just reiterate from previous posts that you guys have a hella lot of rules about what a wallet can say.

Old/New; 2/4stroke.  Who cares?  The man bought an awesome bike!  Congrats!

Down voting a new bike, how sad?

Congrats on the new bike, fwiw you are speaking with your wallet by telling the Japanese to make a 350, like we see complaints about daily.

For all those complaining it's not a 2 stroke,  be sure to post your collection of smokers.

Happy new year, see you at the track or trails!

I'm a 2 stroke guy at the moment ,  but a new bike , is a new bike. Congrats on that 350. Having fun with it is what counts.

I grew up in the 'speak with your wallet' era. I used to think it meant that you had a conversation with your wallet and it agreed to let you purchase a new motorcycle 🤣
