Zero Day.

In the wake of a devastating cyber attack, a former President (Robert De Niro) is tasked with finding the perpetrators and seeking truth when another attack is imminent — but is the greatest threat a foreign power, or from within?

Reminded me of a less fun Die Hard remake. Bateman is always great though.  Probably the only reason I didn’t shut it off.

Yeah, they are talking about "Carry On". We started it the other night, but it was either exhaustion or the mediocre writing that made us turn it off, not sure. Might still finish it though.

Been really enjoying your work, TH, and it's cool how the world gets smaller.

The concept is solid.

Not to be "that" guy, but its Jason Bateman in the movie  'Carry on' , lol.   But I agree with your assessment. Its definitely worth a watch on a day when nothing else is going on. I'd give it a 5.5- 6.0 . But I really like Bateman and Taron Egerton ,so thats worth the extra .5

Thank you. I'm not sure what show is next for me, but we won't finish delivering our episodes for LM and LS until January or so, then probably right back into LM S2, then LS S3. There may be some work I have to do for 1923 S2, but that's TBD.

Haven't done anything with Tulsa King.

Goliath is an awesome series, loved it. I think everyone will like this one too.

6 episodes in, BBT is outstanding in Landman.

Seems Landman is also a huge hit. ( We expected no less) Congrats.

Landman may be Sheridan's best series to date . Obviously Yellowstone was king , but it was time to take it to the train station before it tarnished its legacy.  Stallone in Tulsa King is perfect casting and we love that show too.  Just finished watching Lioness , also very good.  Taylor Sheridan is at the peak of creative TV .  He obviously writes well and researches , but his biggest strength is possibly being able to surround himself with the best personnel  possible for each project .

Avid chimp can certainly add more insight to Sheridan's skills, I'm basing my observations purely on my wife and I's enjoyment level 😉

X2. I'm no movie critic but we gave it a try, went to bed about 1/2 way through and said we'll finish it tomorrow. That was a few tomorrows ago and we've watched other things since lol. I doubt we'll finish it.

The Sheridanverse is an interesting place to live, I will tell you that much. It's taken some blood, sweat, and tears to find my place for sure. Tulsa King and M.O.K. are not really TS shows, but he definitely has creative input. As far as YS, LM, LS, and 1923, you'd be amazed at how small the core group of people around here really is. As I've mentioned, this world is not for the weak or easily offended. TS shows work because he surrounds himself with people willing to work as much as he does, and who have a similar vision as dissenters don't last long.

Another reason his shows work is he doesn't get any studio executive interference, he gets to shoot what he writes. You'd be floored by the amount of good shows that get fucked over by some network executive who thinks they know better than anyone else what works.

I'm just a nobody working out of a garage in Thousand Oaks (lost my office to a kid moving back home). 🤣

Glad you like the shows, Karl. Ep 8 of LM drops Sunday, and it's good, but the show really sets things up for next season the last two episodes.

The last episode of LM was a dumpster fire.  The wife is just such an incongruous train wreck, and really out of place.  Seems that episode focused far too much attention on her.

Also, I now understand why Tulsa King seems to be a notch above the other TS shows.  Much better focus on the main story.

I have started watching Vikings recently when I stay at the farm. Its really good. Has a bit of a Game of Thrones feel. Just starting season 3. Brutal series. I have been meaning to watch it but noticed there is a few spin offs now so I wanted to catch up so I can eventually watch those as well.

The Angela/Ainsley roles are not my wife's favorite either, but I promise there is some redemption as you figure out why they were written that way. They evolve and you start to see why they are the way they are.

Either way, glad you're watching it. 🙂

Dexter Original Sin has been good. The Original was very good as well. Its Dexter as a young man just becoming a serial killer and getting hired as a forensic scientist. Christian Slater, Patrick Dempsy
