This is more expensive than going to a IMSA car race.. which is 50$ for the Saturday..
Yet they want 118$ for view section at Anaheim.
Thats more expensive than a F1 practice day ticket as well. Wtf. (Also these are standard prices and not resale as well)
That's why the $19.99 Peacock deal is so good. Plus the parking is free and beer is cheaper.
None of that extra ticket money seems to be making it's way into the purse either...
Yeah, they tripled the prices this year. I guess if the attendance is down 50%, they will make 50% more profit with 50% less people.
Corporate world moto: sell less, charge more!
Ticket prices in CA are higher because it’s CA…similar or better tickets in other states are $40 cheaper.
Considering everything cost more in CA- yeah I would expect tickets to be higher. Dirt costs more, trucking costs more, fuel costs more, dozers cost more, ushers cost more….etc..etc.
They are looking for the edge of the price elasticity, same as infront and others do. When people stop buying tickets they know they over charged and they will drop the price a bit. A friend of mine worked at company that "Created" watches. They made deals with famous brands, made it look expensive, somewhere in a low wage country they made those. His job was to see how much people wanted to pay for a 7 euro watch... When the test people look at the stuff and all go +100 euro and under 220 euro. He knew how he could place it in the market. For ticket prices I don't know if they use test people, but it feels like they just test it "on the field".

Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
It's so they can pay Deegan his start money!
Same ticket (Section V429) at Anaheim 2 is $83.15.
Looks like they're charging an opening round premium.
Look at most sporting event tickets, they're all expensive, the days of $45 tickets are gone. Thats one night out to dinner, save that night out to dinner and buy A1 tickets.
Yep - prices in the same section we had last year were 80 TO $180. JUST got nose bleed and then we will just stand for the main events. Or just sit in the empty $180 seats - LOL

Also, rest rooms are clean and the bartender never cuts you off.😉
Heh, the last Supercross I went to, I was stunned how different it looks from TV. The jumps are freaking massive and you get to see all the action on the track. It's awesome. I like both, but there is little comparison between the two. I like watching the broadcast after seeing it in person, because you see more detail, but in person, it's amazing.
Not at my house!
Yeah, no argument there. Being there in person, especially close to the track is incredible.
😂 I should mention that I live alone! Lol
Great for you guys. The price went up for international users.
That's just a little more USD ($157.99) than 1 ticket and a beer at Anaheim.😂 And you don't have to pay California gas prices.
Consider the other 27 rounds free😎
With taxes... That's more per month than US gets for a year... I feel like we're getting ripped off a bit. Or maybe they upcharged to pay DV?
😄 Mr. Optimist.
I'm pretty sure that's the fee for the Spanish guys to yell "Goooooaaaaaallllll!" everytime Friese or Barcia takes someone out.
Pit Row
I understand paying more, but I'm not sure it should be that much more. It's not like we get any extra perks/features.
At least with Peacock they get a bunch of shows to watch.
It is indeed silly for us international viewers. I do think it is a good service and still worth it for the whole year, but US viewers getting the same service for 1/10 of the price doesn't make sense to me haha.
I had someone in the US purchasing peacock for me in the last two years and then I watched via VPN, but sadly my VPN stopped working for peacock so I gotta go the expensive route aswell now. 🥲
Well I have news for them - everyone is broke this year … should be interesting
They need to stop bending folk over the barrel.
How much it gonna cost a family of four to go to A1 for the eve?
Subscribe to Peacock and save 100's of $$$
A1 is a different deal and they know it. Supply vs. demand.
Agreed. It’s the closest thing we have to stick and ball playoffs
I prob dropped $750 on for a family of 3 last year on tickets and food/drinks - not including the hotel. Seats were nothing spectacular. I think at this point the riders should form a union to get their piece..they are getting screwed
Here we go again.....you have no idea how much Feld actually profits....just assuming they are raking it in and shafting the riders.
Every rider in the world wants to race US Supercross, the TV package and purse is lightyears ahead of where it was just 2 years ago, and we have manufacturers creating teams to compete here (Triumph and Ducati). Every rider has the choice to line up and Feld does not control that.
Unfortunately this year I can’t be at A1 but I’d pay the $118 because I enjoy the live events and I’ll sacrifice somewhere else to make up for it. See you at SD and A2
I don’t like the new high prices but if they make it so expensive the dipshit loser crowd stays home there’s something to be said for that.
I been to many Anaheim and San Diego supercrosses. It was certainly less expensive in the past, but it was always more than I really wanted to pay.
Still, as someone else mentioned, there’s nothing like seeing it in person. You decide what to watch, you’re not forced to watch the “battle for 7th” or whatever the fuck they fixate on. And you can get caught up in the crowd’s excitement when something cool happens. Then you go home and watch the replay to see all the action you missed.
At this point in my life, though, I think I may have been to enough supercross races… unless someone wants to treat us to some skybox seats!
wonder if the RDL "expert coverage" will be just that, or if it will be what it has been the past several years. bikes on track, cut to pre recorded segment, or someone starts a fast lap, cut away to someone rolling, etc. the list could go on.. that being said im still very excited to see ac and jb running the show.
