I hope the heat dies down. Thankfully, I dont see too much of it here, but social media is a different story.
Jett is (in my opinion) the best we've seen and It would be extremely unfortunate if the negativity gets to his head and holds him back from his full potential... Js7 was probably right there with him talent wise, but Jett is the whole package. I was actually too young to witness most of js7's career but I love watching old videos of that guy.
All im saying is I dont want us to miss witnessing the best guy- be the best he can be.. Maybe he can block it out, but maybe he doesn't and it holds him back. Even if its only 1% and he's still winning, we still might miss out on what his full potential could be. If that makes sense; You ride different with different emotions, I.e. if you started the day waking up happy, vs waking up mad... My perspective is a little hard to put into words...
JT’s Industry Seating takes on Jett where pretty interesting and kinda made me feel for the kid. I don’t hate on any level on any rider… kinda miss the pre SM days… doubt we’ll ever see another MC level of fan admiration going forward- simply too much hate involved in anonymity 😞

lol “the best we’ve ever seen” why? Barely a top 10 all time 250 rider. Since being on 450s he had a perfect season against the most depleted 450 field in history. Then won a SX title against Tomac coming off a career threatening injury, Webb with a broken thumb, and Chase on a new bike. Then my favorite race of the last 7 years happened (Hangtown 24’).
Yeh I guess I can totally see why that resumé would make him the best ever over RC, James, RV, RD, Stanton, RJ, Eli, Showtime, Hannah, and Chad….you guys better enjoy this year and hope he gets some titles against these fading legends that we still have. Cuz next year he’ll be in the DangerZone.
It would be a bummer if we miss out on one of the GOATs of the sport because people bully him out of wanting to be there.
I’m trying hard to see why folks don’t like him but can’t quite understand. Can someone who strongly dislikes Jett give me a quick little itemized list?
Jason Anderson (who I’m a fan of) has raced dirty most of his career. It’s entertaining and I don’t dislike it but a response from them was also fine. Is that where the hate started?
This deegan thing was drama sensationalized by deegan and folks call them marketing geniuses but the Lawrence’s make a good marketing move over an event they’re financially invested in and they are somehow a problem?
Y’all know deegan waving the American flag started as a way to pit fans against Hunter that summer? He was trying to paint Hunter as an outsider. Brian tried to apologize to Dazzy at one point because people started booing Hunter because he wasn’t American.
The whole narrative that there’s something wrong with Jett isn’t based on shit. Dude is a sweet, positive guy and people are out of touch with reality.

Don't hate the player hate the game. If Jett doesn't want to get dissed he needs to stop winning races and pulling chicks.
Hunter is a great role model for Jett as a person. Really lucky to have that strong of a family. The social media stuff should be entertaining, nothing more. All serious criticisms that matter to him will only come from his family, team, and trainer Johnny O.

Goggins records himself reading negative instagram comments directed at him and then listens to them back on his grind instead of music. Jett should do that.
I’m enjoying the Lawrence brothers and their success. Their whining about their treatment in America made me laugh a bit; but, look…they’re young and always surrounded by crowds and a helluva lot of attention and…especially under those circumstances…everyone has their own perceptions and their own personal experiences. So, no worries. That’s just life.
As to who’s a legend and at what level…? I’ll wait for the next few years to play out and see what a career looks like. Hell, I’m thinking Hunter ain’t done winning yet & MXON 2024 probably is not their Swan Song: they may just be getting started.
We’re in for a helluva ride.

The friends I have that actually informed me of DG some years ago…because his knees are as f’d as mine(his experience with this was/is helpful to me)…well, they work for a living…down the beach from us…in Coronado. I’ll put a little more weight on their opinions. They’re a more “positive” influence in these matters than someone on the web that’s apparently “not a fan”. 🤣

I don't have a crystal ball, but how do you picture yourself coping if Deegan doesn't turn out better than Jett?
I’d be shocked and very upset if Danger Boy gets hurt and never gets to show how much better he is and dethrone the Jett.
But it’s just sports hate/love none of these people really have an effect on my actual day to day life. Although when I’m feeling down, I pop on the ol Hangtown 24’ replay and I realize that anything is possible!!

using ur logic u can say the same bout chase winning 23’ SX due to Eli’s Achilles , some of dungey’s titles or coop’s 2 SX titles when those title yrs Eli was just off his A game half the season & we really didn’t get to see the best of coop vs the best of Eli till like wht the residential series we had when everything got shut down for the Rona & all coop had to deal with was Kenny who clearly let coop live in his head rent free with some of the shit tht went down between them 2 , yal can’t be going around discrediting ppl’s accomplishments
