Has sxs slowed as well?  I see them a lot in my neck of the woods. I don't know if anyone is buying new ones but they always on a trailer going up and down the interstate.  I just assumed they were doing okay. I used to want one but  shit those things break a lot. I got enough shit to work on!!

Yea a a high strung 50cc four stroke that doesn’t have a class ( or 65 or 85 for that matter) is the answer!  Let’s make them more expensive and complicated, you want e start too?
What a bad idea.

Well, the obvious reply to your remark is that the displacement match would likely make the 50cc class engine around 90 cc, meaning both 4 and 2 t run the same class. And yeah sure, lithium tech would allow a small electric starter these days, great suggestion soggy B !

All they had to do was put Sexton KYB edition forks in the KTM hard parts catalog.

Ridiculous, I know. But 6500s would be viable!

They put them on the factory edition offroad bike so one would assume the moto factory edition should finally get them.

All the xc bikes come with spring fork. I don’t think we’ll see the Mx bikes go to spring in this next release.

The CRF150 was and still is a heavy kids bike. Im talking about a race spec 4T engine in a MX bike, but you know what Im talking about, it seems that you'd prefer to reply with cynicism. Whatever soggy, get after that biscuit bro

The reason it was not, because it does not enjoy the displacement advantage enjoyed by the full size bikes. When they first came out they mopped the track with the 85’s.

What?  It’s nearly double the displacement, same as 250 vs 450 and damn close to 125 vs 250.

Still I don’t think anyone wants more weight and more complicated engines in there minis. 😬

They aren’t run against 85s. They are in Supermini (112cc)  class. So only a 25% displacement advantage, vs the 100% in big bike classes.

Honestly, it just needs an electric start and they would sell every single one they could build. It may not be a preferred racer, but it is so popular as a wife/advanced kid trail bike that can also race, they sell better than most of the 2 stroke racers that are more competitive.

Yes, sales have dropped way off.  They are kind of a pain for the dealer to sell and store. Mix in sleds and pwc, you're gonna need some sqf.

I see a lot of SxS. People must finance them through the roof! They start around $25k I think but all the ones I see are all modded-out 4 seaters Probably $40-$60k!

I think the novelty of SXS's are starting to wear off. They are hot, loud, uncomfortable, need lots of aftermarket money, and are very expensive to purchase. Kawasaki has great rebates on their new Ridge HVAC I thought about purchasing one for work but they are very loud in the cab it sounds like the engine is screaming just driving 20-30 mph.

it depends where you live and what series. Here in Kansas as long as it has a 14 rear and 17 front it can run 85 jr here

Wasn’t the 150 only allowed in the super mini class because the other manufacturers complained when it came out?

If those are the rules, it follows that you can run a 2-stroke 112 in the 14/17 class. So the same very small displacement advantage holds as in national races where they must compete in supermini.
