The other beef I have - no championship podium.
The interesting part was the apparent inferral that the local riders were not tested, but okay…
Somebody earlier in the thread said Phil crashed. Is he ok?
Most drug testing is done at random. Why must everyone jump to the conspiracy angle right away.

Thats Hilarious!
I haven’t watched the broadcast yet, but the in stadium announcers certainly acknowledged the MXdN win, and asked Hunter about it. Was probably one of the single biggest cheers of the night.
How about Australia’s second greatest racer of all time Chad Reed in the house and didn’t even get an interview
Sure they did. He mostly talked about he was the one that broke the glass ceiling. Not the brothers.
Not surprised to see the usual clowns in here trying to derail things. Must get some weird little thrill out of it?
But I can tell you that last night I didn’t hear one solitary person say they were disappointed at the results, racing, or the show.
We got to see Jett’s speed, Webb bring his A game, Hunter take the win, as well as all the mix of the Aussie titles. We don’t get to see stuff like that every day down here. Maybe you guys are spoilt and take it for granted? Either that or you’re just fuckwits.
Again it was in the in-house show. Reedy presented the 85 cup and Ellie was interviewed as well.
But I did laugh at the announcer calling Chad Australia’s best ever SX rider in front of Jett. Technically with two premier titles he is.
Chad will always have a higher win total his rookie year as well. He was a bad dude for a really long time.
Not sure how you are doubting Reed as Australia's best SX rider.
2 450 titles and 44 career wins bests Jetts SX resume.
I actually enjoyed the racing! But back to this thread, I just wanna know where all the Deegtards are with complaints about him being BANNED from entering Australia lol. I guess they're over on the YouTubes, buried deep in the comments on various videos, posting stuff about Deegs when he wasn't even mentioned in the video.
He was interviewed on the tv broadcast. I'm a big Chad Reed fan but It does get tiring when people talk about the sacrifices the Lawrence's made leaving Australia etc and he will always go straight to "well it's easy when someones done it first, I did it harder bla bla bla I didn't have iPhones to tell me how to get places" why can't he just say yeah I can completely understand how tough it was and move on, not spend 5 minutes downplaying everything the Lawrence's did to get to where they are now and how much harder it was in his day.
Was half a second quicker in superpole, came through to 2nd in an 8 lap race, and traditionally been a good starter.
Take the haterade out the drink when posting.
I didn’t watch any full races, just someone reacting to them and reading some articles about the race. I was so happy when I found out Tate got 2nd, especially after the wild rides he’s had the past few weeks.
There have been a number of high profile Aussie riders to serve drug bans ,
Pit Row
No doubting it at all, maybe I worded that poorly…..I just thought it was funny that the announcer kept making a point of saying it in front of Jett.
No doubt Jett’s used to all the praise these days, and is regularly kept grounded by family, but it was good for someone else to come out and say that he’s still got a ways to go, especially to his face and at home of all places. That’s keeping it real.
I think this is because the hype is 'Jet is the best we have ever seen' and we tend to think in the immediate.
That was hard to watch. He took a hell of a shot.
Wait a minute, the star riders still stacked it despite there (allegedly) being a safety clause preventing Barcia, Friese, Anderson AND Roczen?! Oh dear.
Of course. One of them was racing last night. But the point of my post was that Savatgy seemed to be questioning whether Hunter and other riders were also tested on last night. I’m just guessing, but it seems to me he saw an element of bias by the Aussie organizers and governing bodies towards Jett, Hunter and the other Aussie riders. In short, he doesn’t like the fact Jett and Hunter were the stars of the show. Like I said, just a guess.
The tests most of the time are random and they never test every rider. You are grasping at straws here. The doping agencies (I would guess it’s WADA here?) aren’t the same as the sanctioning body either.
Would have liked to see the 3 boys together though - Webster deserved some airtime too
Huntah took the Huntah line....oy?
Chad Reed who?
Come on man.
This is the Lawrence Bros show..... get on your knees and worship.
You can tell Reed misses the limelight.
It’s been a while since I posted on here and now I remember why - people are just antagonistic for the sake of it hahahaha. I reposted Savatgy’s Insta story which seemed to be critical of someone or something (Hunter likely). I know testing is random, that was never my point. My point was Savatgy’s frustration. Not clutching at anything or making conspiracies, just pointing out an interesting comment from a rider featured in the race (this is a discussion about AusX open, right?). And FYI, the doping agency is ASADA (now known as Sports Integrity Australia). I realize they are different to Motorcycling Australia (the main governing body for racing in Aus). I just included them all under a general term rather than list every organization involved I the running of the event.
You guys act like such pussies everytime Jett doesn't holeshot and win, it gets spewed into every thread on Vital.
