I admit that that I'm not on top of this shit like some of you guys, but the knives are coming out for her. She just seems like a patriot to me. My question is: is there something in her past that I'm not aware of? I actually have some amount of admiration for politicians who are willing to shuck their loyalty to a fucking political party and cross the aisle to serve an important role.
Greenwald talks about it here in these two clips:

Maybe somebody can bring me up to speed.
Anyone that goes from being a Democrat to a Bernie bro to a Republican is just a lost empty vessel with no ideologies seeking acceptance from wherever they can find it.
That is a big negative. Thanks.
I'm not sure how her lack of dogmatism will effect her duties in National security though.
You got your time frame wrong.
She backed Bernie in 2016 and after she left the 2019 primaries.
The way the DNC treated Bernie (and her) precipitated her leaving the parry.

It's the core of dishonesty, is the absence of ideologies/philosophies/rules to live by. It means you just do what you want in any given moment. It's the main problem we have today, imo. It's the swamp we claimed to want to get rid of, yet can't stop refilling.
She has an ideological core.
After watching the DNC operate for the last 8 years, that's why she became independent.
It’s more that she is firm in her ideologies, philosophies and rules to live by…As we all know the Democrats have moved so far left (they have let the radicals take over)..Those dishonest at the core blindly followed them off a cliff..
Dems are now the party of anti free speech, transitioning kids, letting men dominate women in sports, pronoun nonsense, high taxes, high crime, shitty schools, warmongers, Cheney lovers…etc..
People always have a reason to not be who they say they are. What's the ownership rate these day, like 0.00000001%? It'd be highly unusual to hear other than precisely what you're saying, excuses to be low quality people.
It may also mean that some people will follow the evidence, rather that ideology.
The quick and easy test is whether or not it makes you happy. If every ideology makes you happy, then it's probably not an ideology, it's just mental gymnastics plus selfishness. If all the evidence makes you happy, then it's probably not evidence, it's just mental gymnastics plus selfishness. Take for example everyone in congress swearing to uphold the constitution, that means that Democrats are supposed to support gun rights with their vote even when it makes them unhappy. Do they do that? No. They just do what makes them happy, which is to put their personal interests over their ideologies. And it also means that Republicans support gay marriage rights even though it makes them unhappy. That's what having an ideology looks like, when you find yourself supporting something you don't like.
Bring back civics.
You actually know what happiness is? Could’ve had me fooled.
Partisanship is the enemy of reason.
Did you miss the part where Hillary Clinton called her a Russian asset, which effectively sunk her 2020 presidential run? That'd cause me to tell them to fuck off, too.

She was on Rogan...
Or perhaps it is someone open minded enough to change an opinion and be willing to grow as a human being.
She wasn't willing to speak publicly and sound like a mental patient so the DNC turned their back on her.
Same logic as a woman being mean to a guy so the guy turns gay.
Seems like a lot of resistance to thinking that people should have ideologies and be consistent with them.
Let's be real, since she left D for R, every response in this forum is going to be praising her.
Pit Row
Work on your understanding of analogies. It's closer to a battered wife getting sick of the abuse and leaving for greener pastures...
That works fine as long as Democrat and Republican ideologies are the same, or at least very similar, which of course I could not disagree more.
Anyway, it's no biggie. I think she flops around parties pandering to whomever will have her, and you disagree. It's all good.
