Pretty impressive- electric bike beats 450s at Glen Helen of all places. Trevor ripped a holeshot as well.

That was real close between him and Josh Mosiman. Steward lost moto 1 by 2 s then won moto 2 by 0.4 and moto 3 by 3 s.

He led all laps in 3 motos except for moto1 last lap, I guess that makes it a pretty decent vet bike that plus 2 Australian national vet titles.

Whats more impressive is the old Suzuki and Mederos.  Who says you need a 10k plus bike to be competitive?

Are we really surprised by that? I feel like it’s no secret the E bike would be better off the starts. No clutch, no shifting, instant torque.

This certainly doesn’t help Stark…AMA to ban harder than last time..

The AMA busy banning electric bikes while CARB is busy banning gas bikes..both are clowns..end result NO bikes..

I'm not familiar with this rider . Would he be in contention for the win in this class on an ICE bike ?

The bigger the hills the bigger the advantage with a Stark.

If they go that route it will leave the AMA left out. An electric series is inevitable if they don’t figure out a way to include them.

Holeshot on the Stark does not surprise me. But Stark pulling those steep GH hills at the end of a pro moto is impressive.

I would much rather watch a 125 PRO class than an e-class. Not to mention a loud chorus of ill tuned obnoxious generators in every pit. No thanks. How long were the motos, 30 plus 2?

Me too man, but unfortunately I think we’re going to have to keep dreaming for that.

I'll never be in the market again for a new bike of any kind but I'd sure like to try a Stark just to see how it accelerates . Every video I've seen people are kind of shocked by the acceleration.  Even Emig was pretty surprised.

6 laps about  a 20min race is pretty good with Trevor on bike lol

It’s not about what you find more entertaining or want to watch. The manufacturers are putting R&D into electric and will want to sell electric bikes. There will be far more manufacturers offering electric motocross bikes in 3-5 years than currently offer 2-stroke motocross bikes.

I realize that, they will screw over 4t the same way 4t screwed over 2t. To your point, hopefully there will be an ice race somewhere and thats where I'll be.  Like the Rush song red barchetta.

The fact that Starks tagline/slogan for this bike isn’t “Ride the Lightning” proves they are amateurs and not ready for the big stage.

All I get from this is why is there a plus 25 class at the biggest vet race in the world.

Paving the way for the AMA and FIM to change to 20 minute 3 moto format. It's over Johnny

The same reason Vet Fest has 18+ classes.  $$$

They need to have an E-Bike class next year. Stark winning is totally unfair. Gas and Electric bikes don’t belong in the same race. Maybe Trevor could have won on a diff bike, but I doubt it.

I was an electric bike hater until I rode one. I have little interest in riding gas bikes now. Sure, there are constraints but for my use case it's outstanding. The best part is the basically zero maintenace.

I rode a Stark, not a hater and never was but they don’t belong in the same race as a gas bike.

Competitive riders choose the fastest bike, it's survive of the fastest, otherwise we would still be riding BSAs...

The problem is the fatalities that will come from a pro elmx in supercross. Cant fit taledega in A1, first turn yard sale every race, and they will have to knock down triples. I could see it going the way of the 3 wheelers.

Now you are going to blame Anaheim first turn crashes on electric!
