They hinted around to searching the court cases to find out. I put in the name of the business and nothing current came up. who knows what name the race team is under though🤷♂️
Going after riders IE they were supposed to pay up for the season? Would be interesting to see what a ride costs if anyone can find it in the documents.
He gives an idea of costs in the Podcast. It's a good listen.
sounded like a few lawsuits, everything from a complete bike that went missing, parts not being returned, not paying. I know it's just his side of the story (he states that several times) but it has to be a tough business to be in, especially dealing with young adults, teens and parents. It's worth the listen

Maybe I'm at the wrong Wisconsin government website, but I've typed in Duclos and Rock River racing, just rock River and haven't found anything yet that is current against any rider/sponsor. I did find other lawsuits however, which i do not think is scandalous because if you have money you will be in court at some point.

TLDR for people who can't listen:
He lost 57k in 2024 due to riders not fulfilling their end of the deal and sponsors doing the same.
Lots of riders would bail halfway through the series/year leaving him on the hook for their part of the expenses(he would calculate out things like transportation etc and split it evenly among the riders, not taking a cut or adding margin). They would also not return parts/bikes as initially agreed upon.
Some sponsors didn't pay what they agreed leaving additional funding gaps.
He's suing everyone and says he's getting everything owed to him. moving forward it sounds like he's going to have more iron glad contracts and he will be getting money up front as a "deposit" from riders that they will get back after the season(to protect him from things like missing bikes)
It'd be cool to have the companies names known so as consumers we can decide whether to continue supporting them or not.

Use the Mudflap app to find the cheapest fuel. It’s easy sign up process compared to a com data fuel card. A cc i# is needed. My new 1099 Chicago co uses this. Speaking of 1099,s. Sept 17,18 I had 2 court hearings with the iL. Labor dept on 2 co.s that ripped me off . 12-29-2020 to 4-19-2021 = 44k most of that money was to Feb 18. The other co is 23k , 20 or 26.99 % interest + penalty’s etc is owed goes back to day 1. It’s a little different case and it’s in a different state. But I,m a IC & so is a rider. It does go by what state you signed the contract. I,m a Wi. Resident the unpaid wages r numerous. Not getting escrow 5k , security deposit 5k back, mostly wages, 1 co charged my cc for there trucks tolls after I deactivated my ez pass & quit. My cc # was on there computer . Tolls add up quick Penn trn pk 500, 3 bridges 750. A ton of stress just getting a claim going. Retired Senator Kohl & others said don’t mess with the states . Call the Federal labor dept . They say it’s not us call Wi. , Wi. Says call iL. IL. Says not us call Wi. A massive amount of weeks& hrs to get 1 co together. We run 20-43 hrs straight 7 days a week. So I went after most of everything insurance, trailer rental payments ovr charged , even the elog deposit of 200. 1 page of the contract stated we are not allowed to book our own loads, I signed that page Terry. Why rates where high my dispatcher lived in Serbia he,s an attorney so he’s pretty sharp too. Us drivers do crafty stuff too. Book a load using my LLc name & use there Authority, insurance etc. I pay dispatch 15% I keep the 8,500 it goes into my chase buisness account. I pay him western union like he’s paid from Chicago. Even if the dot ask for the contract where supposed to hv with us. It all looks legal & matches . They don’t see a e payment hit my account . Sammy his 3rd American name shorted out he was getting ripped off too & co said Sammy fell ill & is unable to fulfill his working duties. I,m like no way you didn’t kill my friend. Most of the co is in Serbia . Organized crime there connected with Super Ego aprox 50 co.s are. Chicago corruption at its best. The co deleted the fake rate contracts from my phone . Huge federal case against them also on that. My 1st rc I said that’s funny , now send me the real rc. They created a program that took any rc & clipped 1/2 or more of the money . Changed other features, insanely illegal. I told the judge our organized crime is extremely upset ovr this . Because they did some of it in there areas , no one is allowed to do this in there area. They created fuel surcharge in 94. There a part of this industry . I paid them 250 mil & 250k maintenance fee a week to end union strikes & allow 5 world record horizontal drill rig pipeline projects to be completed. 1 co.s attorney was speechless then says did you sign a contract. I said the contract was Void day 1 . Because I was told I had to work for another co for 3 weeks for a flat rate. They voided there own contract.
I listened to 15 min of it. I wasn’t 100% sure you had to pay to ride on the team. But I thought most teams are like that now. So tired new job stress or running for days. Soo windy for days too Joliet to Pleasant Praire Wi. Real professional warehouse for a pu going to Pa. . Yamaha warehouse was across the street , see pic. It’s near the iL. Line . to deal with the bs of people not paying . Attorney fees & the stress of it all can wear you down. Getting money out of someone is tough. The claim is filed so that’s done. When it goes to court. You hv to push for a set time line or date for payment . And ask for a penalty for a late payment. Good Luck
Sponsors not paying is nothing new. Anyone remember blimpie suzuki? Primal impulse left riders owed a pile of cash. Shark energy drink and plano honda, the list goes on.
On the flip side, riders too. There are a lot of riders who turn pro and suddenly believe that they are doing the sponsors a favor by using them as opposed to the other way around. I remember an interview with an industry person (household name company in moto, can’t recall which one). He said that one thing he had grown very tired of was many of the current riders demanding everything. Not “hey, when you get a chance could you send,” or “hey, I’m out of X part, is there any way we could get more.” Instead “I need,” “you need to send me,” “why don’t I have,” etc.

I can usually tell when it’s a pro125 post within about 5 words. Then I just stop reading and move on.

Duclos mentioned a collection agency on the pod, that's who the lawsuits are probably filed by. Might be able to find them by taking guesses at defendants and searching those, but I'm hoping these guys have LLCs that everything runs through since they're all independent contractors so even that might not get you far
"You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy" that about sums up the industry and what they do to each other. I've been on the inside of several lawsuits and as a fan of the sport it's just better to not know. Some of the names involved would surprise you.

I used to hear a lot of that. I won practice, i'm fast. "YOU NEED TO" give me a bike. That part of the industry, I don't miss.
I hope he gets what is owed to him. It's one thing to win a case. Another to collect on it. My mother inherited a property and tenant that not only lived there for 4 years without paying rent, but it also cost us over 25k to evict him. He never paid her a time in rent , had a contract with her mother for $1600 per month. He ended up passing away a few days after the eviction was finalized. So we got him out, but lost out on all of the rent and legal fees. He leveraged anything and everything he could. In the end he came and made threats against my mother's life. I got them on video and we got him out shortly after.
I hope that he recovers everything and it doesn't cost him more to recover it than he recovers. Ma. Is very tenant friendly as far as eviction laws. And he took advantage of all of them.

My dad had a tenant that wouldn’t pay or even mow the yard. He finally had enough and went there with a 5 gallon jug of gas and starting going around the house pouring it out ready to burn it. You never saw so much crap being tossed out the doors and they loaded up and was gone. You couldn’t get away with that in this day and time because it seems the laws protect the deadbeats and crooks these days.
Can’t comprehend words or what. It’s all examples of buisness workings in America. I,ll simplify it for you, everything is contracted. A trk going down the rd to a co installing a roof. The biggest pipeline co with 16 divisions based in Wi. Has to spend millions to organized crime to end huge strikes to complete 5 world record projects of 893 mil each. I made the payments & created a buisness friendship, actually great pals. I had a contract with Chicago trucking co.s they did not pay the wages etc. example of keep the pressure on & things start going your way. Leasing trk dispatch says 3k s. Wi. To Harrisburg 750 mi when the rates where high. I say not moving for the sake of moving that cheap. Look for s. Wi. To east Ohio nothing lower than 8 per mi. Then short haul the ne for 4k a day. Rates crashed in mid Feb 21 fuel in the ne 7.00 I walked away from the lease. You can gross 18k & b broke down 2 days . & get a check of -288.00 . I signed a walk away contract the fixed payments where higher 2,900 a week.plus I pay for fuel , tolls, tires 1,200+ 1 tire oil filters, etc. Not sure if Mike knows but trucking co.s r driving ovr 300 , 400 mi + to pu in Wi. The loads still hv a little profit due to the dairy , paper, all kinds of manufacturing , trks for fire dept , war, bath, logging,ship building everything including bombs I del steel to . Probably contracted to purchasers. In the summer I would travel there from another st. To buy a bike in summer. Cool small lakes a lot cute women. And good vibe I del in White water , went to a couple stores. The Rock River is windy in most areas I crossed it a few times this yr. Worked for a tanker co that had a terminal by lake Geneva & 1 near Hershey Pa. Where I,m close to now.
I finished listening to it 14k for race fuel and I,m sure he gets a discount. Waldo Wi. By road America track has VP . Aprox 7 per gal for c12 in bulk. Pissed lastnight Chicago crash fest I couldn’t make it to Youngstown to see a girlfriend.
