Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
Honda historically has used MXGP and the All Japan Championships to test prototypes, preproduction bikes have traditionally been raced the full season before production release.
Stark is/was a startup, they don't have a history, so could do whatever they want.
I'll take that bet on Suzuki winning the race, easy money!
I know what you mean, but those were all ICE bikes, this is definitely different as they probably would not be allowed to race an e-bike in most of those series' (exception for Japan). It will be interesting to see if they bring anything to any of the Japanese races again this winter though, I hope they do.
I guess in hindsight, if Stark is putting bikes on sale because sales are starting to flatten/fade, maybe the big 5 are just scratching their chins to see what happens? If someone makes a white, green, or red one (in that order), I will be fighting for a spot in line to buy one.
The only reason any company decreases price is to increase demand, Stark's ability to supply must be meeting or exceeding the demand.
Stark has set the benchmark for power and range, the OEMs will have to match that benchmark, that may take some time.
Inflation adjusted, that's prolly 1990's pricing!
Surely they will be cutting production numbers dramatically for the next model year.

KTM is having issues...
Yup, as a new biz plan, I guess they'll be focusing on small displacement street bikes for the developing countries near India.
KTM's bean counters are focused on cost cutting...
I guess the Austrian rumor of a new 360cc TBI in development may not make it to market. The last chance for a proper big bore to see production.
I sent off Suspension to Race Tech and the bike is probably the closest to a factory ride I’ll ever get. Completely unreal how it handles in corners.
Going out of business..
They are still hiring...

Many have said it, you really only cut pricing when demand is slow. You cut more pricing when demand is slow and you have excess supply. It's not a good look for Stark when they are starting to cut prices this early in the game...I guess everyone who wanted a Varg already has one.
Dam what happened? You would think PMG would be killing it financially seeing all the Austrian bikes at the track..
Ducati has gone to liquidation? Someone should tell Audi.
From 2023 the MotoE bikes are made by Ducati. They are not great or fun to watch or make any sense but i bet they are better than the italian-shed-made bikes they had before. Just saying. 😁
Oh yeah... cost cutting and owning MV Agusta goes always well together... like sodium and water... 😁
Next model year?
I can't see anything other than controller updates for years.
This 20% price reduction may come at the cost of light weight components?
Sales and profit went down, debt went up...
This can't be helping:

Someones pet project, it happens all the time in large companies.
This early in the game? They’ve been out for a couple years now. What does it say about kawi putting discounts on new models 4 months after they are released?
They could make chassis, suspension and ergo revisions. Though by most accounts they seemed to have nailed that part.
Great to hear, thanks for chiming in. I'm really excited to feel how it handles in corners and how it will feel in the air. The top whip guys have gone to the next level with these bikes, I can't wait to toss this this girl around.
Do the guys at Race Tech have a fair amount of testing time on the Stark? I was planning to send mine to Enzo since they are the KYB gurus, but I'm curious if any company has poured a ton of time in to testing on the Stark specifically.
But we buy MX bikes to convert all the time, and they never fail.
Its actually one of the things it should be ideal for, with short and relatively clean races, but it wouldnt do 12 +1 without ending up on its arse . And if it cant do that, what else wont it do?
I rode the bike twice stock and then someone else’s to compare. Mine was unreasonably stiff. I’ve always had Race Tech set me up and they had just wrapped up testing for their baseline settings. Big difference, totally happy with the result.
Other things it won't do: Baja, Dakar...
Seriously, it's expected that Supermoto and deep sand are weak spots for electrics, thermal management is more of an issue in any context requiring high and sustained loads.
We'll see how much they can improve that with the incoming Supermoto. A little extra weight to integrate battery cooling might be more acceptable than for MX?
Yep, just like Honda when the released the 1974 CR125.
Exactly, how long has each manufacturer been around?
Great divination powers, Freeride E 2025 is indeed 5.54 kWh and 26 hp.
Dude....you're the fly in the electric buzz.....don't do that.
😂
They discount their bikes every year…
