I'm pumped to see Jett put in a full season without getting hurt. If he can stay healthy he has the talent to put it in the top 5. His injuries started the minute he got off supermini and went to a 250. I don't think he has gone a year without injury since 2018?

Pretty sure he got hurt at at round me in sx and missed it all and broke his collarbone and missed the last few outdoors this year as well. Or you talking about the 3 round smx series? I’m pulling for the kid!!

I became a Jett fan watching the Club Team, but not having a bike is no excuse not to ride if you want to ride.

When you tax the nervous system like motocross does, rest is the best thing one can do for performance. You can’t pull from a drained battery.

With injuries, and coming back less than 100%, the body compensates and begins to move less efficiently. So training becomes more of a grind, further draining the battery. This compounds over time. The result is a downward spiral that one can only get out of by pausing and truly taking the time to heal.

Very few take that time because we are so wired to “be productive”, not holding the awareness that doing nothing (calming the nervous system) IS productive in the long run.

When you balance out, you level up.

Tell that to RC, Villo, hurricane ect. That’s a big bunch of fucking bullshit. Honestly. The guys that win in This sport are gnarly motherfuckers. Yeah I get it. It’s 2024  everybody thinks it’s cool to sit on the couch and rest your body, but let’s let the history books do the talking.  Get gnarly or don’t win. That’s the way it is.

RC and Villo both didn’t touch a bike for 4-6 weeks after the season was over.

The exception is when RC was making the move to 250 supercross, and when he went to Honda.

RC tested the Honda for a week after the last national to get a base setting for when they really started testing, and he started testing early for supercross.

Villo got away from it as far as possible and ate and drank what he wanted to.

Hannah raced a 12 race supercross series and 8 nationals, he took time off.

talk to O’mara about chronic fatigue syndrome, and see how serious he is about rest.

You just compared Jett Reynolds to 3 of the greatest riders to race in the States.

I think the reason vohland had a bike was because it was on the truck from vegas. Not too sure on that though.
