The real question should be are we Putin's friend or enemy. We have done some real shitty things to Russia over the past 100 years or so. That Putin controls a nuclear arsenal that includes continent killing nuclear subs each carrying more destructive force than all the weapons used in WW2 combined should dictate policy towards that country more than political doctrine. We share no borders with Russia, do not compete with them economically or industrially in any magnitude, do not have huge ethnic or religious differences, our sole reasons for this long-lasting mortal struggle are mostly political ideology. Is that any reason for the entire planet to be at the cusp and precipice of annihilation ever presently? We need to find peace with these people at all costs, our children need this, the human race needs this. Make no mistake we are at war with them now, our radar in Poland tracks Russian soldiers for their enemies, we supply and fund their enemies, we are making Russia an enemy of ours for generations. The nuclear question is not going away. Putin, though labeled a murdering zealot, has shown control over the genie we released from the bottle for now. Anyone who wishes he be removed, or if he is removed, God help humanity with who replaces him. We are talking about a people who lost one in five citizens in a war not too long ago historically. A people who had to amass 500 divisions to defend itself and has had hostile boots on its home soil repeatedly, our country has no way to comprehend those people's perspectives.
Bob Woodward wrote that Trump sent testing equipment (not kits) to Putin personally, then Putin called him and said “don’t tell anyone because then they’ll be mad at you.” Meanwhile, the type of equipment that Trump allegedly sent was readily available in Russia and could have been easily sourced domestically. It’s a really dumb story to begin with.
Then the Russians saw this and thought “look at these idiots believing this dumb story. Let’s fuck with them and release a public story confirming it.” Then the same people who spent 2 years on the hunt for “Russiian interference” readily succumb to obvious Russian interference in an election.
We have much more dangerous enemies much closer to home.

Can someone help me understand when something about Russia is Russian propaganda and when its factual? It seems anything about Russia that doesn't align with the lefts narrative, or is even remotely positive about Russia...is ALWAYS propaganda. Is that the litmus test for info about Russia?
And why is the left pro-Ukraine aid...but anti-Israel? Seems weird that jews were the untouchable demographic, then all the sudden antisemitism became mainstream and it was controversial to support the Jews suddenly...what gives on that as well?
I'll admit I don't trust the media...so I'm out of the loop on all of these issues. I think its wrong for any country (Russia or Iran) to invade another...but I'm also tired of putting all the seemingly endless foreign aid on the credit card by great grandchildren will be forced to carry, to bail these countries out when we have our own issues at here (mostly the national debt)...so I have a hard time supporting the role that America plays in both countries (Israel and Ukraine). Have I fallen victim to Russian propaganda (that I've never seen because I'm not on social media and I don't watch the news all that much) because I'm questioning America's involvement in that war?
