USA isn't even in the conversation if they ride like today. Other than Tomac, pretty uninspired riding.  AP, isn't Jett, but he wasn't rolling around 5-6 seconds a lap slower than him at the start of races this summer. Getting pulled by the third Italian and British riders isn't gonna get it done.

It’s not like people haven’t warned you about the likes of Bonacorsi and Mewse. AP actually rode pretty well there.

Edit. Also Mewse is probably GB’s strongest rider, not third.

Lots of thumbs downs being thrown around if you talk bad about the US, but you're absolutely right. If they ride like this tomorrow they'll be lucky if they get a top 5.

Plessy back by Hoff.

Good ride by the American. Almost got Bonacorsi on the last lap.

Find yourself a woman that loves you as much as JT loves Jett. 😂

One thing to add though, JT and Malin is a fantastic combination. Doesn't really get better than that.

Britain out qualifying Team USA! We could sneak a podium if the stars align tomorrow?😜

Somewhat surprised with Spain(not Prado), US with this team, regardless of timing in selection, is a bit disappointing

If the Brits get good starts I think it could happen.

Malin's commentary flow fits so well with the speed of motorcross.

What happened to Coldenhoff?

Tomac is still a beast and he's obviously shown it before in Europe too and will pull something out of the bag but surprised that AP and Webb finished where they did though, the GP tracks are pretty tough to push on compared to AMA, tough to cross the pond either way around

France is the only team that drops a lower finish than USA.  Put up 5 decent scores and you can podium.

It’s all about the start

Webb needs speed but got the start from 24th so our gate tomorrow is decent. We’ll have 9 and 27? Or 29 or 30? (Corrected from what others have said - which isn’t bad since roczen got a good start from last)

We definitely need starts and to stay ahead of the major contenders. Speed is decent for USA. Hopefully we have luck and all of them perform well. Note that some countries qualified higher but they have to take one score from their worst performer.

If you have a Roku, download “Mirror for Roku” and you can stream to your TV.

It's not doom and gloom. It's this odd strategy of riding so safe on Sat that you have almost no chance of winning on Sunday.  Qualifying 9th gives them horrible gate picks on Sunday. The start is half the race.  When your best result is a 6th and your country sends 3 factory guys it's a pretty underwhelming performance.  Especially when guys they have beat and raced with all year are running in front of them.

Your gates will be 9 and 29.

Vialle gained an advantage by cutting the corner after he jumped off track.... penalty needed for sure

Didn't factor into the placement today either way so as long as they figure it out tomorrow he'll be fine.

They said he had a rear brake failure, seemed to be pumping the pedal.

I think it's pick 9 and 30.  Not 9 and 18.
