Prayers to the family and friends.
Terrible
Condolences to the family, absolutely brutal.
Just awful, hate hearing about these tragedies.
Oh dear! Sending prayers for all involved.
Hate to be a bearer of bad news, just a caution to all, that never know what can happen, so live life and be happy. At least he went out doing what they say he loved, but too young, and man in front of his son that just sucks.
So tragic - sounds like such a freak accident. The son is going to need lots of support. I saw a friend die in a dirt bike accident when I was a teenager. Messed me up. Can't imagine if it was my dad.
Terribly tragic. My sincere condolences to the family and everyone at 23 that day. I ride there often and I have been friends with the track owner for over 30 years. They all need our prayers at this time. Very sad situation.
I lost a friend in a very similar situation. But his kid was only 3 years old at the time. And it was the first time that his kid went to watch his dad ride. My friend was on life support for a while, but they said his brain was not showing any signs of activity right from the start, and they pulled the plug after trying everything that was an option. They said my friend was pretty much gone when he hit the ground.
Its crazy how sometimes a relatively minor looking crash will end in major injury or worse. And sometimes the most insane looking spectacular crashes do less damage.
At first the kid thought that if somebody went riding that they would never come back , like his dad. Now many years later the kid is in his teens and the group of guys that run the track he passed away at have bought the son bikes and gear as he outgrows each bike. And have helped him learn how to ride and the kid enjoys it. I imagine that it would be almost harder to go through at 17 than it was for my friends kid. The 17 year old might be feeling like he has to step up to take his dads place and handle a lot of stuff. Its sad either way. But at least he went out doing what he loved, with the people he loved. And was still happy and healthy, not something a lot of people get to do. I feel bad for the kid and his girlfriend. I'm sure I have customers that know them.
Life is way too short, and way too long to fight over the dumb stuff that so many of us all fight over. You never know how much time You have left.
Heartbreaking. My heart hurts for them.
RIP. My condolences to his family and friends. Very sad.
Damn this is gut wrenching. Can’t imagine my kid having to go through that. Crazy how something we bond over and enjoy so much could end so tragically. Prayers to the family and rest in peace fellow rider. 🙏🏻
Omg. That's so sad. Some of my best memories were riding with my son. Sometimes this sprot can be so brutal.
