Joey Savatgy will race US Supercross, World SX and Aus SX aboard a 450 through all of 2025.
Deano is doing World SX and Aus SX aboard a 450 for all of 2025. However, it sounds like he’s just doing the first four or five 450 US SX rounds in 2025.
So they’re teammates, but Joey is taking over his full time SX spot in the USA for the team.
The press release also says pro motocross. I’m guessing that’s just select rounds to get smx points?
Never make fun of a mans hair, one day it will be all gone.
Right now, Joey would really benefit from that.

People love to hate on Savatgy. Easy target for people of low self esteem. I hope he finally shows what he can do. He’s on a capable bike.
Who will replace him at Triumph?
"runner up" seems pretty clear to me.

It’s obvious who has actually followed his career and who hasn’t. He got to ride factory 450’s, but was used as a fill-in of sorts…timing wasn’t on his side with finding a home. I’m pretty sure he wasn’t happy about stepping down to a 250, but sometimes your options are limited and you gotta choose what makes the most sense. He didn’t accept the Triumph ride so he could stay down in the 250’s. The 450 was suppose to be ready for ‘25 so he could race it. It didn’t work out and he left on good terms and also landed on a good bike / team.
Not sure why the hate, he’s a good dude and not a dirty rider. Some just want to talk shit and dogpile, I don’t get it. He’s somewhat quiet, compared to some of the personalities in our sport, maybe that is a downside to his popularity ?
10-14 range, 7th or 8th on a good night I think. His bike should be good and DeanO seemed to do decent on it.
