Those things were  Beasts !

We used to ride in a gravel pit on a few Sundays and those things blasting the top of the sand piles looked fun

That Roost Boost bottle is as big as a silencer, holy crap.

You can see spots of overspray where they just rattle canned it, buyer beware!😆

A few hundred designs b4 they engineer ed the DBP.  Rail plowing with a train 7 ft deep. No one wanted the job of carrying a 20lb 4 ft wide set of blue prints & putting 60 mi on your feet.  Balis stone tears boots up , I bought a new pair every week. 1 week I bought a cheaper pair & I lost all 10 toe nails socks all bloody. Still had to run all day. Then they got me a 200 cc 3 wheeler I had a blast & got paid. Technically I was a Professional 3 wheeler rider , haha.  Ps I had to locate gas lines, Culverts, water lines, etc. 

Oh man back in the 80,s guys where putting any engine you could think in 3 wheelers. For ice riding including 750 to 1100.  That was crazy shit mobs of bikes wo in the bay.  Hard to beat the rush of 140+ on ice until you hit a ice shelf .  18in of ice ramp pointed backwards 

Top end was swappable with the 80 CR250R.  Honda made a 300 kit for it even that can bolt on the 80 CR.  

Had a 200X in HS and my brother still has his 86 250SX that he bought new.  They were fun and no 4wheeler could touch them in the snow. 

I remember these things...
I even had the Boost Bottle, just like the $7,000 craigslist gem. We knew what performance looked like back then.
