Having a visor positioned like that is not worth having on. It does nothing.

I thought no visor was the new visor?
Maybe skip the viagra next time.
They are all a waste of time now, point at the fucking moon.
How are you supposed to duck roost when they are like that ( i realise that this one is for fun but even so )
I tried on 5 helmets last time i bought one, and with the helmet chin bar down hard on my chest, i could still see my mrs stood in front of me.
Its like they dont realise that roost comes FROM THE BOTTOM OF THE WHEEL...
Dont start me on gloves...
Gives new meaning to “catching air”…
Turn your head to the side.
Only really fast guys can rock that look...
So why have one at all then, pointless.
The idea is to stop roost, and maybe the low sun, and there isnt a helmet in the last 15 years that does that .
People put cameras under them now, insanity.
in mud a little boner extension is helpfull
HELL YEAH BORTHER
SSSIIIIIXXXTTTEEEEE NNNIIIIINEEEEE BRAAAAAAA
I’m not saying turn your head to the side because the visor is pointless. I am saying it because it’s an improvement in technique (that may or may not be taken into account when helmets are designed).
If looking straight down, the only way to block roost is a longer/lower visor. This has an inverse relationship with vision, and what you gain by shortening the visor isn’t all that helpful (see more of the bike).
When you turn your head to the side while ducking roost (so looking down and away at a 45 degree angle), the chinbar is no longer an issue, freeing up more space to rotate away from roost.
This extra space allows for shorter/higher visors, which means more vision, and what you can see is more useful (the edge and bits of track ahead).
When ducking to the side, especially in today’s helmets, you maintain roost avoidance and gain some vision.
