So do you know him personally? Not many people do what people go off of is what we see on camera. So far we saw him kick his bike, push another competitors bike over, try and wreck a teammate, the loretta debacle with him in the golf cart, pointing and laughing at hunter when his bike blew, give the finger, go to another competitors pit throwing a fit, call guys out and act arrogant, lie about his health , ect. That's not going to get many people to like him. I'm a big fan of high-school football, kids the same age as him. If they did interviews or acted like that they would be suspended from games and called out how it is. If you call it how it is you're a "hater".  So if someone dislikes him when they dont personally know him are dumb, what are you for thinking that person is dumb when you don't personally know them?

I would be ecstatic to never hear the term "hater" again. Yes, I've probably used it recently. Habits are hard to break. It's so played out

Agreed.

Another thread turned into bashing Deegan because he has said mean words on the podium. The kid backs it up and it makes you all so butt hurt it’s wild. Sure some of the things he has said have been cringy but you absolutely cannot deny the kid is one of the best, if not the best, current 250 rider in America. It’s ironic because I bet more than half of you enjoy one of our presidential candidates because he tells it like it is but hate Deegan for the same reason.

That's the thing I don't like too, everything about that family is so inauthentic and manufactured for social media clicks. We don't know who Haiden is, we know "Danger Boy" which is the character Brian created. He needs YouTube views to keep the lights on, Haiden is his meal ticket

If you honestly believe that Brian needs his kid's money, you are living in a make believe world.

Well, this thread is just making me like Deegan more.  It appears he's almost as controversial as J-Law.  Bottom line is, if he were to get hurt and sit out everyone would then complain how boring the 250 racing is and now robotic the podium speeches are.  Deegan brings the excitement and I hope he keeps doing what he's doing on the track.

The hype behind the freebie race that lines the pockets of the promoter is getting old.

Biggest and most important race of the season sofar hands down, prestige, meaning and racing all comers from both sides of the pond etc trump monetary value , sure it's wrong that the promoters etc make all the money, it shouldn't really cost riders/teams what it dies, not that millionaire guys like Deegan etc can't afford the trip though...

Enjoy it while it last. A dominant rider have a small window of excitment before the fans turn on him and start to find it boring. Look at Jett now, plenty of fans want anyone but Jett to win because he has won to much.

With Haiden grabing a holeshot and running away with it, there won’t be much excitement to talk about.

Quite an accomplishment in such a relatively short career when you put it like that 😁

It really is and sums up why people feel the way they do. Motomike can't figure out how to defend it that reply.

I get it, a lot of people don't like dominant riders so I guess it's best to wish both of them bad starts so they have to work for it.  Deegan doesn't always get the best starts, but it seems like HRC 450's are almost always top 4.

Watching Deegan race is phenomenal. It’s the narrative fabrication that is annoying.. go back to the start of SX when he had stitches on his wrist. He denied all along that he had hurt himself, I think he finally said he tipped over?  Now he’s being asked to ride mxdn and the wrist is now an excuse?

it’s a bummer cause they probably win if he’s on the team.  He’s the first guy since RV I think could legitimately beat everyone on a 250. Maybe not at matterly with the hills but he’s a way bigger threat then Webb.

It's controversial to say it for sure, but he probably goes in as the top challenger to Hunter in the MX2/MX3 moto...  It's a bummer we don't get to see it.

I shouldn’t really respond because it should be obvious.

He’ll be at a significant power disadvantage but I wouldn’t be surprised if he was top 3 if he was racing. But we will never know because he is to worried about his image.

I really  like the fact about him that the more people complain, the faster he rides.

I have spoken to Haiden and Brian a few times as they used to live down the street from me in Temecula , and we used to pit  next to them at the local tracks.

In person, both of them are cordial, respectful and polite.

The persona that Haiden shows on the podium is not the kid who went to catholic school here, but I guess his dad adopted the same alter persona when he created  the Mulshia.

I don’t care for it, but it’s their marketing tool and it makes them money.

Deegan hate is rooted in low testosterone levels

34 down votes . . . so Vital has 20+ super duper I hate Deegan regulars.

Maybe we should give this bunch the name "Deegan's Menstrual Mulisha"

"Down Voting = Low "T" Beta's gifting themselves a participation trophy

Marketing gimmicks don't ride the bike. Haiden is making money by dominating the field. Haiden knows that when he says the things that he does it triggers people, and I find it entertaining. I also think he has mastered the fine art of carrying a chip on his shoulder. It's almost as if he has been schooled by the master himself, Bob Hurricane Hannah.

I personaly never had a problem with dominant riders, but it seems that most of the average fans tend to turn against them pretty quick.

They need to up those T numbers. No reason they can’t be pumping out 900-1000ng/dl

I suspect they’re hovering around 200 now

Nobody from what I can tell has anything bad to say about Deegan and his riding. But those of us that are wise to stupid baiting marketing gimmicks and constantly moving the goal posts so he never has to say he was wrong.

I’m sure people want to see him get beat, just to see how he reacts but it’s honestly hard to see that happening as long as he’s on a 250. And he’s gonna be hard to beat on a 450. Jett is incredible but we haven’t seen a rider willing to go where Deegan is willing to in a long ass time.
