I hope this gives him a boost of confidence.

I hope this race has opened some eyes on just how fast some of these overseas riders really are.

It's all moto so it's all good.

He looked great. He was fastest in both motos. Looked like he may have gone to the front in moto one, but made a poor choice going outside Alessi in that corner. He caught Mike pretty easily.

that was awesome, to be back on the bike after the bowel surgery and be able to run out front like that is awesome, that is awesome

the core people who really follow mx already really know the fast guys on both sides of the pond. in 2007 when we saw ben and villopoto battle we knew both were going somewhere. now ryan just has to get out of his injury slump

I loved the pass he put on Nagel and AC on the first lap. Passed them both in one corner and was GONE!

Great job Ben and also to team Lucas Oil TLD Honda!

So so good to see BT take that moto. Always been a big fan of his and hope he keeps the ball rolling now.

Oh yea, racerx reported on tweeter that bt101 on the parade lap pulled in front of Alessi and gave him a face full of roost! Anyone else read that?

congrats to BT101on the 2nd moto win, but dont go giving him a championship just yet... there are a few out there who still have some speed on him AND the top rider (still healthy AND racing) won the 1st round and NOT scared of the kiwi....but yes its good to see the BT101 of old back ripping it up agian...

lol...this week. Unfortunately he is deserving of that rep. If he stays healthy all outdoors, he will win it. No doubt about it.

I didn't see the last 2 motos, had to go to a family situation. Good for him, I was impressed with the speed of the top guys. Glad BT is back.

Class act for sure. What a great addition to the 450 class for this year and it looks like he might be a contender after all. 2010 Outdoors are really shaping up.

BT could be the 2010 AMA 450 National Champion and he is not even 100% healthy yet .

Good for him. I thought the dude was toasted. I'm glad I was mistaken. The rest of the season will be interesting for sure.

Happened right in front of me. They release the riders one at a time and Mike went out right before Townley and then Townley gassed it just enough to get right in front of Alessi then gunned it and totally roosted Alessi. Mike was like WTF and then flipped him off.

Boy, folks can build a band wagon fast around here. The guy wins a GP moto, and now he's the AMA champ.
Where was this topic before todays racing?

I will say that the TLD Honda was very well prepped and that bike was hooking up big time. Ben and that bike were very strong this week-end.
