Getting back to the issue at hand, this has to be extremely alarming to everyone right? That one of our top adversaries loves right wing content so much they’ll pay millions to keep it coming? And millions of Americans consume that content and trust it? Scary stuff.
I'm of two minds about it. One being yes it's crazy and warrants a serious response, like total economic isolation the immediate closure of all embassy's and the expulsion of all nationals. I think this is a part of our freedom the Russians have never understood. Yes, there are people that may easily be fooled, but there are many more who aren’t. The Russians overconfidence is always revealing. Has been for years.
I think the current anti-abortion push is all about economics, not morality.
A waning birthrate is not good for an economy, especially one in a country as large geographically as the United States. I understand that it feels like an attack on women, and in a way it is. But I don't actually think the goal is less abortions, but more babies.
