Getting back to the issue at hand, this has to be extremely alarming to everyone right? That one of our top adversaries loves right wing content so much they’ll pay millions to keep it coming? And millions of Americans consume that content and trust it? Scary stuff.

I'm of two minds about it. One being yes it's crazy and warrants a serious response, like total economic isolation the immediate closure of all embassy's and the expulsion of all nationals. Then there's the other side, where if some posts on facebook are all it takes to turn you into a Tucker Calrson Russian sympathizer, then maybe we deserve it.

There is a huge building in St.Petersburg, home of large department of KGB working on stuff this thread is about. It`s no secret here. Russians openly bragging and mocking americans about it. They say USA is very easy target. Don`t shoot the messenger.

Hi Kongols. I hope you and family are doing well.

I think this is a part of our freedom the Russians have never understood. Yes, there are people that may easily be fooled, but there are many more who aren’t. The Russians overconfidence is always revealing. Has been for years.

I think the current anti-abortion push is all about economics, not morality.

A waning birthrate is not good for an economy, especially one in a country as large geographically as the United States. I understand that it feels like an attack on women, and in a way it is. But I don't actually think the goal is less abortions, but more babies.

The propaganda that Russia funds would not even show up on the same graph as the propaganda that our own parties put out in an election year. 10 million is what is being cited vs about 10 billion that we spend.  Oh the humanity.

I dont seem to remember a lot of you worried about george soros influencing our media and elections to the tune of billions of dollars.  or what about china having actual spies embedded into the democrat party? or that Chen/Tenet were actually causing division within the republican party by saying trump was not conservative enough, he was too far to the center, which helps democrats

Thanks for proving my point Costanza.

I read business and political news daily (from all kinds of sources), and all forms of reported corruption and meddling does indeed concern me.

Also, pushing a narrative that Trump isn't conservative enough actually helps him get votes from moderates/independents. Trump isn't going to win on MAGA votes alone.

Still waiting for that fiscally conservative party to show up... Any day now guys.

Well then it's a good thing we have CNN/MSNBC/abc etc to remind everyone that he is an ultra right wing extremist, literally Hitler, and that he and his supporters are the biggest threat to our country.

I'd love to see a more fiscally conservative to get a real shot.... But we know how well that would go over in the media and with other politicians.... The horror and fear mongering would be even worse than it is now.

Is this a joke? 🤣

Compared to the TDS INSANITY you run with as soon as you get it from Morning Joe..?

Seriously...that's what I find alarming...the way you act as if you're thinking for yourself when all you do is come in here and "re-spew" the MSNBC talking points of the day.

You act as if this is latest "RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA!" that's coming from the same ol' crowd is some kind of doctrine while you and yours come in here siding with the Pro-Noun-Police and the Transgender-Child-Mutilation-Lobby...and the Administration that's let TENS OF MILLIONS CROSS INTO THE USA ILLEGALLY...lest you forget?

FFS, get a clue and grow up. Besides, shouldn't you be holding your "weird" sign over the freeway on your favorite over-pass...? Do you need pics? That's a classic joke, right there...YOU...calling ANYONE-ELSE..."weird". Damn. That's some Jerry Springer Classic Dave shit right there!

Good luck with that. 💩

The Russians will pay you to swing right, the Iranians will pay you to swing left, you might be best off financially being a pendulum.

Donald Trump is litterally the most devisive candidate in history.  ANY other Republican would most likely wipe the floor after the last 4 years.  Trump as the candidate is the only reason this is close.  We are shooting ourselves in the foot.

In a surprise to absolutely no one, far right political voices have been revealed to be getting millions from Russia to push their content to the masses. They have come out with a statement saying they had no idea the people paying them were connected to Russia. Which means one of two things:

1. They are bought and paid for by Russia and are treasonous traitors to our nation. Plain and simple.

2. They truly did not know Russia was behind their payments. Which means that on their own, they pushed content that the Russians loved so much they said yes pay them whatever is necessary to keep that content coming.

It’s one of the two.

This shit is funny as hell. Tim Poole came out with a defense where he said Russia likes what he says so much that they pay to feature his content on their own websites in their country. What a fucking moron; he can't catch the point if it were thrown to him during a softball interview.... oops it was

It’s complicated, to sum things up. I believe it should be up to the woman and the man. If raped, different rules apply and the states should be in charge not the federal government. The baby itself is considered human as soon as it has a heart beat. Most people do not take into equation that the mother is not the only source of the child. It has its own individual cells made of two other people. So I don’t believe everything should be up to the woman.

Holy can of worms Batman

If the mother doesn’t want the child, and the father does, does she get to abandon the child and pay life support?

What if who the father is isn’t known, or worse, incorrectly identified

What if the father is an abusive asshole and only wants the child to punish the mother, or to keep her with him?

What if the mothers life is at risk, and the father insists on keeping the child?

Take two seconds, go grab a glass of water and your pills called Xanax. Relax dude. I am not writing a bill nor running for office. I generalized and left room because obviously there are outliers.

There are people on this site who take his word, and people like him, as complete fact. They then project their mindset onto others they don’t agree with and call them a brain washed sheep following a fake news narrative. It’s sad. It really is.

No political affiliation is exempt from the powers of confirmation bias. We dissect what we don't like and instantly accept what we do like. We all do this to varying degrees. It's really hard to be truly fair with the information that's presented to us, because our first filter isn't a conscious thought of, "is this true?", it's just an initial feeling, then that feeling is what drives thought. Check out the semi-recent video from Ryan McBeth on Project 2025.

Do we all agree that there is no way Russia has only spent $10M doing this? How many other far right ass holes took their money and haven't been called out yet?

There is zero chance this is the first time Russia has used this tactic.

Also, this isn't the first time this group has done it either.... There is zero chance these far right influencers just started taking several hundred thousand dollars a month from someone they don't know without seaking legal counsel before accepting.... Bullshit.

OH wait, I'm a millennial and Tim Poole owns a skate park. He's good in my book, let's just forget about him, let's leave his good name out of this

It's shitty no matter who's doing it, but it's good for us to keep in mind, especially those that use words like "fake news" and "lamestream media", because the little sites/guys they do see for "real" info, those little guys are for sale just the same.
