Anymore info when those bikes will be at the dealer or get tested?
My brother is a dealer and has both models on order. I'm interested in a new 250X. They looked for me Friday and it showed none have shipped yet.
That's for his dealership though. Some get them sooner than others.
I thought it was mentioned in press release late September beginning October..
Originally was late August.

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
The bike was launched in Europe last week in Germany so hopefully the press rides here will be coming soon.
What a teaser! I’m ready for some real info….
But it does look sleek and smooth. The transitions between body panels seemed good. There’s one shot that shows the area where the shroud meets the side panel that looks like it’d be GREAT for squeezing with the knees.
I’m ready for feedback on the new motor & suspension though. That’s what will have me pulling the trigger….
The bike didn't gain 3 lbs. It lost 20 but that frikkin muffler put 23 back on!!! Heard they had to go up 2 rates on the shock spring just for the muffler!
The bike is a little wider than the last gen. Sort of a hybrid between '17 and '21.
My ‘17 feels downright slim compared to my roommate’s ‘16 YZ250F… hard to imagine it getting narrower. I know I sat on a ‘21 when they came out, but it’s been a while
How do you know the new bike is wider than the ‘24?
lol’ I am smart?
This guy has ridden it. Says it’s slimmer……

If he was able to compare them side by side he would immediately know he was wrong. Placebo Effect is real.
The seats on both bikes are exactly the same. Can't be too much different.
My 24 450 is easier to grip than my 22 due to the flatter side panels.

That’s a very good review. Sounds like the new engine has the low and mid-range power and torque of the pre-‘20 engine.
did they have a better low and mid earlier? Only rode the 22 and 23 so dont know what they feelt like before.
Pit Row
The ‘18-‘19 had better bottom to mid and allowed a gear higher . It was down about 4 HP and lacked the endless top end.
Not sure how you get both given displacement, cam, RPM relationship. It may have better bottom/more hit but not going to be the same grunt without giving up top end.
I doubt it has the bottom end of the 17-19. It is probably improved from 23-24.
I thought the 23 had better bottom and mid then the 21 and revved out well
The’23 had a bit better bottom end and the longer headpipe. Most tuners ditched it for more hit. The ‘21 hit harder and was better for clearing jumps or on hills.
The ‘23 was easier to ride and the gearing changes fooled folks into thinking it was just as strong in the middle.
Oh that explains it. My son has a 21 and his buddy a 23 . I like the 23 , better vet bike lol
My dealer site shows I have one ready to ship so that usually means I get them within 10 days. Im in MN

In that new Kawasaki USA KX250 release video with Lil Keefer, the bike sounds different. Not so raspy like the previous years.

The bike meets the 2026 noise restrictions of 109db so it is pretty quiet and restricted. Will probably gain some ponnys with another silencer and sound better ofcourse.
Thats one thing i noticed about my 24 kx450, it is much quieter in stock for than the last gen
It's also the direct cause of the engines lackluster performance.
The stockpile of those giant oem mufflers removed in the USA within the next few months could literally shift the earth's orbit.
