I didn't get ANY feeling whatsoever that he was going to be Orange next year. Watch it again. He seems happy and confident he will be on Yamamaha's again next year to me.

Wow. I actually believe what JS says for once. I sure hope he means what he says because if he does the future will be bright. I talk allot of shit about James but the truth is I say most the bad shit I say because I feel cheated when he's not out there.

Thx for the update Guy.
X2. Broke my wrist last Oct and it still aches lifting weights so noone can put themselves in his shoes. How lod is he 23? Got a lot of racing left in him if he's smart. He def pisses me off going supercross only but if thats his passion ,whatever. He's probably one of the two baddest dudes on a bike ever(obviously RC the other one). There were alot of similar threads back when he was coming back from his acl tear. "Cant finish a season, he's gonna crash or win, blah blah blah" He waxed 'em 24 motos and took it to them the next supercross season too. Yeah the points were close but only because he gave away 25 the first round. Tighter racing is def better but I would rather see him out there than not.

350 the bike of the future? A Yamaha 350?

I think James will come back and kick some ass in SX. Outdoors, not so much against MA, Villo, Reedy and RD (he'll have his Hangtown motor problems sorted out, yeah you heard that right, there were issues with that 'Zook's motor).

I still don't get why pros read the message boards? Why do they care what a few no-nothing keyboard jockies are saying about them? And even more relavent, why do they get pissed over it.

(I assume that when he says he "heard" or "saw" something about him, that he got it from the message board)
Because these message board jockeys represent a good amount of fanbase and a lot of dislike for those who flipped flopped after seeing this update.....choose a side or take some prozac and make up your mind .....If I was a pro and one of the "Hated" few on here I'd be peretty pissed too......some of you guys are relentless and absolutely absurd.

I may be enjoying a relapse, but it has nothing to do with the veracity of my info.

well if it is KTM, that's where most careers go to die..... so hope that isn't in the cards for him.....

he gets a little older every day...... the young guns get a little faster.... every injury always takes a bit of speed away... he's gonna wake up some day and his career will be over without him even having raced much of it.....

I think the words (numbers) of interest here are not so much "KTM' but "350"...

For the same reasons an opinion "poll" about politics on a media outlet website isn't accurate....neither can the opinions of those on a message board be considered an accurate cross section of the opinion of the entire mx fan base.

voluntary polls aren't accurate because only those that feel like they have something to say (usually one extreme or the other) speak up. Same thing with message boards. Those of us here that actually post here (which are only .0000000001% of the entire MX industry fan base) don't accurately represent the opinions of the other 99.999999999% fans of the sport. We represent an extreme, a "vocal minority", and nothing more.

If I was a pro I wouldn't spend any time on the message boards and if I was a team manager I'd forbid my riders from participating (reading and posting....but CERTAINLY posting)....it's unhealthy!

I know many people that participate in the message boards (TFS comes immediately to mind) like to make themselves feel important by thinking they "have a say" and "have a voice" in the industry. I find that comical. They don't! (Or at least they shouldn't---no rider, team, company should give a damn about what we message board posters think.)

Message board posters represent and extremely small percentage of the overall fan base. And we are an extreme thinking vocal minority. No more is the Sierra Club an accurate representation of the average american's opinion on the environment, than are the message board posters an accurate representation of the average mx fans opinion of the riders/sport.

Not sure where you got your degree, but I'd think you could sue to get your money back.

There are people who don't know shit - and there are people who know less.

Guess which category you fall into?

WTF do you think you are? Frikkin' Einstein or something?

Rather that make an opposing argument you come with all this "smoke and mirrors" shit? And then have the balls to call me stupid?

So spill... What was wrong with it? Why didn't they change it? I think Dungey was surprised at the pace and missed the setup, he looked like he was riding SX to me... Very deliberate and the little bit we got to see the bike was bouncing all over the place.
