American Honda, Progressive Join Forces in Multifaceted Agreement

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (September 6, 2024) – Today at the opening round of the SuperMotocross World Championship Playoffs, American Honda revealed an exciting new multidimensional collaboration with Progressive that includes title sponsorship of the factory race team. Starting with this weekend’s race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Team Honda HRC Progressive features Progressive branding on its race bikes and rider uniforms, with additional branding placements to come.
While the factory race-team title sponsorship is the headline news, that is only the beginning of this relationship. In the coming weeks and months, Honda fans and customers will see Progressive involved in an array of initiatives. Other examples are Progressive’s support of American Honda’s Demo Ride events and Rider Education Centers.
“We’re excited to finally kick off this unique new sponsorship,” said Brandon Wilson, American Honda Manager of Racing & Advertising. “What I think makes it most interesting is that it’s not just a traditional race-team sponsorship; it’s a broader agreement, with an intercompany, cross-departmental aspect. It’s fun to kick this collaboration off for the SMX Playoffs, but this is just the beginning.”
“Collaborating with Honda is a natural fit for Progressive as we both share a commitment to innovation, safety, and customer satisfaction,” said Eric Doubler, Recreational Lines Business Leader of Progressive. “Together, we can explore initiatives that enhance the driving experience and offer unparalleled value to our customers. We’re excited to embark on this journey.”
So does that mean Progressive will not sponsor the Roczen wing of HEP?

Oh wow. I guess i haven't been paying attention...or...those other teams besides HEP didn't do their job to get my attention.
Title sponsor with Kenny and now HRC, co-title sponsor of Twisted Tea Suzuki, and lower level sponsor for the other teams, so that might be why you don't hear/see it as much.
They're spending money and that's always a great to see.
Edit: I think they're also the co-title sponsor of the Star Yamaha 450 team.

The questions aren't really the issue. It's how he gets to them. He proceeds to ramble on some story before asking the questions.
Just ask the question.
lmaoooo gypsy was starting to come around a LITTTTLEE bit, listening to the feedback & making adjustments. But now completely went backwards. I mean the podcast with Brian Deegan..what in the fluck was that? I had to shut it off. If i wanted to listen to politics i'd turn on the news or some political podcast. I for sure do not want to listen to politics from brian deegan & jase. okay i gotta calm down i'm losing it.
If Jase really asked that at a press conference i think he should get some sort of fine or suspension. That's ridiculous. Especially with supermotocross trying to be more professional.

I like it but we could say that it would look as good if not better on the front better, same angle, same size, just 70 centimeters on the right. I don't know. I miss the 1-800 collect and chaparal from McGrath so there is room for sponsors.

That was Steve Cox aka word nerd style, that clown would give a long drawn out question that wasn't even a question and was just his opinion and then want the rider to agree with him. Glad he is no longer involved, he was more like TBSs side kick. 🤣
He had a cringe question in the MXDN press conference too. There is a respectful way to ask the same things…I’m just not sure he is capable of it.

Good for the teams, and stoked they support the sport, but they took 4 months to complete my Moto van claim after it was totaled. Had to go full Karen mode to get anything done.
Pathetic! The 7 and 9 year olds asked better questions than the adults who get paid to do this..
